Sorry but you are not allowed to like it after all the horrible things you said about the album. Its a fantastic album opener. And of course its a fantastic song.
Oh the irony of you liking this song but dissing the album. Its like loving Second Hand News but hating Rumours

You're not allowed to give orders if you compare SHN to WTTCT.

One is a sparkling, bristling masterpiece that starts off with separation and punches you in the face with a forceful energy (in stereo).

The other is a tin can sounding drum machine followedby boring lyrics, boring melody and me personally not able to wait for the next song to start.

I like WTWCT and Miranda, and that's about it. It's a depressing TURD of an album. I like Time better than SYW!!!

BuckVie is it's polar opposite! It's aural candy! It's fun, it's sweet, it's great!

I give SYW a "D", and BuckVie a "B+".

I'm so thankful for the GIFT that was Mirage II.....I mean BuckVie, as their swan song. The only thing better would be if really horrible luck hit the person who didn't participate! (how's THAT for careful wording!!!???)

i wanted so much to love Say You will. I agree with homer and love WTWCT and Mirand. I also really like Destiny rules though I wish her nasal low voice in the beginning was fixed. I'm one of the few who like what Lindsey to to Smile at you.Put it this way, I NEVER listened to that album again after the novelty of a new FM album wore off. I actually like Not Make believe , strictly because of the interesting things LB did to it and wished it were on the album. I think LB made a mistake of trying to be to experimental. With CM gone they should have tried to make a Rumours 2 and went for the straight pop.

I came across this article this evening. A long, detailed piece with Mark Needham. It is really fascinating if you are into how music is made, recorded, and mixed. Some general things we knew. They record a lot of the guitars and basses DI or direct into the recording console and not through amps. On the other hand they did basic track a lot of the music live - guitar, Hammond Organ, bass, drums. We also know that Lindsey loves to layer tracks. And Pro Tools have given him nearly infinite expansion capabilities.

But did we know how much ---???

Feel About You was 189 tracks including 44 drum and percussion tracks and 76 backing vocal tracks.

It is a long and for many an overly detailed read that will be boring. But I thought a few of you might enjoy it as I did.
WHAT? The drums do not sound like that many. I love LB's layering but this sounds CRAZY. I bet if you deleted 80 of them you would not notice the difference. I'm a movie trailer editor and one of the mistakes of a new editor is they think they have to layer tons and tons of sound efx to make something sound cool. I had to take over one of these trailer for an editor out sick and I there was this section that had 10 sfx layered. I deleted 7 of the 10 tracks and ZERO difference. ZERO.

A tad surreal, but I appreciate someone paying homage to Carnival.

Carnival Begin is a beautiful song. She nailed it. It doesn't get a lot of love, but the story behind it, to me, is amazing.

Red Sun, to me, feels like a classic FM song. I love it.

It is for sure a classic FM song. I love the entire album but that’s the track that you can almost think you hear Stevie on the chorus.
