Default Do you guys think Stevie will record new music?

I'm seriously hoping that Mike Campbell gets Stevie to do both a new solo album and a new album with Fleetwood Mac. I will take whatever though.

I see a solo album before I see her recording with this new line up of the MAC. If she thought nobody would buy new music from the "fab 5" there is no way she will record with this incarnation.

Yes I have a feeling this is why she got Lindsey fired. She likes working with M Campbell and he can come up with the music and she just has to do the lyrics.

Maybe?

Initially I was a definite "no" given what she's said about people not buying music anymore...BUT...I'm leaning toward "maybe." More likely, I think, solo (perhaps with Mike Campbell bringing in the rest of the Heartbreakers to play on it ), but nothing would surprise me at this point. I think it was pretty apparent in retrospect that she wasn't going to go into a studio with Lindsey ever again, so I guess we'll see...

I hope she does another solo album, and I think she will.
But Fleetwood Mac needs to disband.
I won't go to a new incarnation of the band on this tour.
As a hard-core fan, it's just too late in my eyes, to re-invent FM.
And they certainly should NOT record new music without the classic line-up.

I don't think she will record another "real" album. I do believe she will have one more farewell solo tour sometime 2020 or 2021.

I think she will record another solo album, and I think she'll wait to see how this FM tour goes before she decides whether she'll record with them.

Default New?

Stevie Nicks to record new music?
Sounds like a trick question.

If we're talking a solo album, perhaps a 10 track album consisting of 8 re-recorded demos and 2 new tracks written by her and Mike. Is that more realistic?

At this point, I'd like her to focus on continuing to release deluxe re-issues of her back catalog. We got "Belladonna" and "Wild Heart," now I'd really like to get a remastered "Rock a Little" and "The Other Side of the Mirror", especially RAL because there are so many great demos she did then that I would die to have cleaned-up versions of. Also a complete release of the RAL tour, but I know I'm pushing it.

Yes! I would dig this. I also would like clean versions of these demos and alt versions. I loved Stevie's 1985-1989 voice.

I would certainly welcome new music but am sceptical she will do anything in a studio. My dream would be that she gets off the tour circuit and leaves a legacy of several more well produced solo albums. Which is unlikely for sure.

Hell no. All she really wants to do is tour.

It would almost be the best of both worlds if Rock a Little were rereleased in a Deluxe Edition and she toured for it- Rock a Little Redux! We'd get some new songs PLUS a Rock a Little tour where Stevie's sober! I would be so happy to hear Stevie sing I Can't Wait live. She's said in the past the song is too hard to perform live, but if she were sober, I she could nail it.

I still want to hear official recordings of

-Julia
-Space Needle
-Three Birds of Rhiannon
-Forest of the Black Roses
-At the Fair
-All the King’s Horses
-Joan of Arc

I still think she has been writing a lot of poetry/journal entries because I doubt that goes away. Hopefully we will get some new songs. She did do some recordings like the song for the show Henry, that new version of Gypsy, and that Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems, so maybe she will return for solo or a new FB album.
