Default Your Ideal Mac Setlist

With all of the talk about changes made to the OWTS setlist and speculation on what might be included in the next tour, I'd like to see what everyone's ideal setlist would be. The only criteria I'll stick by in mine is reasonable length (20 tracks or fewer). Here it is (in no particular order):

- Spare Me A Little (I would pay double for a concert if this song were included)
- Go Your Own Way (A must include)
- Landslide ''
- Songbird ''
- Got A Hold On Me (Would like to see a whole group performance)
- Both Angel's (Would be cool to do this as a medley with Lindsey singing Bob Welch's)
- Tango In The Night (as a World Turning/I'm So Afraid type jam)
- Big Love
- Love In Store
- Why
- Gypsy
- Think About Me
- I Know I'm Not Wrong
- Honey Hi
- I Don't Want To Know
- You Make Loving Fun
- Crystal (Sung by Stevie)
- Jewel Eyed Judy (Sung by Lindsey)

I left off Rhiannon, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman and Silver Springs because Stevie's voice just isn't cut out for those songs anymore. I felt the need to include some pre-BN songs to get away from some of the more overplayed songs, but I couldn't cut GYOW Landslide or Somgbird because there won't ever be a show without those three. Let me know what you think.

There are lots of threads with "dream set list." I suppose we can only dream because the Mac and Stevie are probably the most ritualistic live performers ever. I know this would only happen in a dream but here it goes.

Stevie opens for the Mac. She does many of her solo hits and we get Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Landslide, and Rhiannon out of the way. Its great to see Stevie live and solo.
Then the Mac takes the stage and digs really deep playing many Christine songs pre-Buckingham Nicks. Lindsey digs deep into Tusk and many of his Mac songs that are sometimes glossed over.

Now THIS would be a concert

They all come on stage and play 'Why'
Couldn't give a toss what they played after that- my dream setlist would be fullfilled.

i like this! get Stevie out of the way and play mostly LB/CM songs as Mac? brilliant! i can skip the opener and just come in for the main act.

big yes to LB's Tusk and SYW songs that are never played.

My dream setlist would have to include Hold Me and Isn't It Midnight. They would do Isn't It Midnight just before Go Your Own Way at the end of the main set, and it would be a really high energy, rocking version. I'd add one of Christine's Tusk ballads, probably Never Make Me Cry, to the acoustic or "cocktail kit" part of the show. And I want a lot of new Christine/LB songs that they collaborated on and more of Christine's piano playing. Some bluesy/early 70s stuff that they could really jam out to. Maybe a Danny Kirwan song. I'd replace World Turning with something else.

Lindsey: Bring back Eyes of the World (Mirage-style), Not That Funny (with Christine on piano). Play Tango In The Night instead of I'm So Afraid. I'd add multiple songs from Out of The Cradle and Gift of Screws (2008), there are some very Mac-like songs on there that I would much rather hear than the standard Rumours fare. I liked the full-band Go Insane in 2009 and want more stuff like that.

Stevie: Angel, Crying in the night, Races are run, That's alright, Sorcerer? Something different, I don't know If songs like Rhiannon and Gypsy were included, it would be in different versions/ arrangements. Would prefer completely new songs altogether, as long as they're good ones.

2) Isn't It Midnight
3) Everybody Finds Out
4) Second Hand News
5) Little Lies
6) Gold Dust Woman [A version like from Stevie's 1981 or 1983 solo tours - I love the long versions but we do not need five minutes of just guitar and "You can't take me down!"]
7) Miranda
8) Big Love [Full Band]
9) Brown Eyes
10) Landslide
11) Hold Me
12) The Ledge
13) Destiny Rules
14) Say You Love Me
15) Not That Funny

ENCORE 1 -

16) Go Your Own Way
17) Rhiannon
18) Crystal [Lindsey singing the first verse, Stevie singing the second verse, and both singing the chorus' together]

ENCORE 2 -

19) Songbird

~
This is one of my many ideal setlists.

well, they just released that Tusk deluxe set.

Springsteen is currently touring his The River box set. he's doing all 4 sides of The River album, every song, in order as sequenced on the album, following by 12 more songs, of which about half are different from tour date to tour date.

so......... they can do Tusk in sequence, all songs like on the album, followed by 12 more songs, out of which half are different every date. yeah, right. - no balls for something like that this is Mac we are talking about!

even if they'd do half of the above it would be great.
