Exclamation Unbroken Chain on TV!

Tonight, they are showing Unbroken Chain and some Queen thing as well on UPN! It's gonna be channel 21 (KTXA) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It comes on at 7PM central time.

Thumbs up Cool!!

It was so cool to see Neil and Louise on that show! I was all "OMG, I know them!"

The only interview of an FM member was Bob Brunning, but some really cool pictures were shown. The only thing...Bob saying that Mick wanted Stevie only and not Lindsey at all...which is crap, but other than that, I think it was accurate.

They said Danny left before Jeremy also, which was wrong.

A good deal of those pics/magazine covers etc are from my personal collection. I scanned tons of stuff and put it on a CD and sent it to CA for them to use. (Of course the guy promised us a free copy for our help but that never happened. ) We're in the credits though, and I always get a kick out of seeing lots of my my stuff.

Right, I remember that too, wrong-o. Sorry you didn't get your CD, Lis and Marty. Cool to see your names in the credits.

BTW, how long is the show on the DVD, because there were commercials and it was an hour long. Surely, they cut some stuff out, right?

I bought a copy at a local record store, and I just laughed at a lot of it. Like when Brunning says "no Fleetwood Mac fan would put a Bob Welch era album in their top 10."

Yeah, I thought the whole thing was pretty funny too. At least there were some good pics.

Yeah, the pics were the only good part. Notice that they did not even play any Mac music?

Yeah. I've never been a fan of unauthorized documentaries.

Is that surprising? I knew full well when I bought it that it was a product which was produced outside of the band itself. Given that, I'm sure it was impractical -- fiancially and otherwise--for the producers to obtain the rights to the music. The only value in it, as you mentioned, are the photos.

It lost credibility when it was stated that the band only wanted Stevie! Yeah, that makes a lot of sense!! Lol. "Hey guys, we lost our only guitar player...so...let's get a singer!" What the hell was Mr. Brunning thinking? What a bonehead!

I rented it on Netflix. I'm glad it was part of my subscription and I didn't actually have to directly pay for it. I was really disappointed. The photos were awesome, but that could have been done with a really cool screensaver.
