Default Funny little things....

Has anyone else noticed how Stevie has a tendency to boss Lindsey around a bit these days? In San Diego, directly after the intro/dedication he doesn't start playing right away and the 'little diva devil' starts to come out as she waits...kind of funny. It's not the only time I've thought so...she isn't nasty but I bet she can
be....whoa!
These little snippets on YouTube can be both telling and deceiving.!

I don't interpret it as Stevie being a diva, but rather a cue. No cue was given in the following video of Landslide, and this cute little mishap took place.

Just seemed to me like Stevie letting Lindsey know she was done with her intro. But as we discussed in another thread, people see different things.

yes, there was a thread about one of the shows where people were discussing how come Lindsey can hear Stevie when he's across the stage at his mic but not when he's right behind her during Landslide intro.

someone clarified that unlike Stevie, Lindsey doesn't use ear monitors, and he depends on his floor speakers that are right around his mic to hear back what's happening. Stevie's speaker-looking things on the stage are actually teleprompters with song lyrics and directing her what to do next, and she already has ear monitors for sound. that's i guess why you can sometimes (not at every show, but maybe when sound is not calibrated just right?) also hear Lindsey's vocals better than Stevie's when you are right at the stage, because they come back through his speakers.

so yeah, seems Lindsey wouldn't hear what Stevie is saying when he's standing right behind her during Landslide intro, and she may have to give him some signal when she's done... unlike with WY intro when he's standing at his mic and can hear what she says.

Ok....I think I came in after the tour ended and had already been discussed.

Stuff like this is so adorable. Forget the fake lovey dovey stuff. Give me the unscripted moments between old friends any day. That goes for interactions with John and Mick, as well, but, these two especially are cute as can be when they just wing it, and have fun.

You know, I just watched the San Diego clip again and Stevie is really cute right before Lindsey starts playing...bossy or not!
