I prefer the recording on the Live at Bass Hall CD.

I'm partial to "The Dance" but maybe if they cleaned up the version from the 1980 LIVE album that would take the cake.

I like early ones from 75 and 76 before they got really long. Lindsey also played with a lot of emotion in them too. I love the long ones if I am up close at a concert watching him - but I get bored if I am just listening to them on the ipod or something like that. There's something about seeing him up close playing it that really makes it for me.

I agree. I really got excited when he put the harmonic guitar solo back into it...ala the album version.

On the SYW Tour and the Uleashed Tour during this song I kept my eyes closed and pretended it was 1976 all over again.
And it works!

I agree. I like the LIVE version but it's a bit long. The Dance one fits perfect

I guess you're looking for a recording, so I say Mobile AL August 1980 on tape/CD-R.

To slightly paraphrase Jean Brodie, For those that like that sort of thing ... that is the sort of thing they .. uhh .. like.

Largo (Landover) 1975, in large part due to Stevie's harmonies.
