Not sure if this has been discussed..Dave Stewart in possible collaboration/talks with Grace Potter. I'm a HUGE fan, and he has really been talking up Grace with posts to her performances and tweeting her, asking if they could talk.

A fan responded if he was attempting a Grace/Stevie collaboration..I couldn't find the convo on twitter but he said something along the lines of 'possibly' 'who knows' or 'we'll see'

That would be epic. Grace herself is somewhat of a Stevie fashionista/performer. She has done GDW with Warren Haynes & Gov't Mule and bears a slight Rumours era resemblance. Check out her pipes and VERY Stevie Rumours tour GDW/Rhiannon howls at the end of the Stone's Gimme Shelter Live:

LOOOVE Grace Potter - I've seen her about 7 times - most recently 2 nights in a row at Stubb's last month. I've always thought Grace would be the only person who could play Stevie in a movie.

What happened to all the peace and love?

A Stevie Nicks fan who paid big bucks to see the Fleetwood Mac songstress perform in Woodstock claims he got more than he bargained for when security guards beat him down for sitting in the wrong seat.

What made the assault even more of a bummer was that a venue employee gave Marc Kurzman and his fiancée permission to sit where they did, according to a federal lawsuit Kurzman filed in Manhattan federal court last week.

TOTALLY agree! Resembles and could do Stevie justice the most of anyone I can think of!

Can't believe you've seen her that many times. I've been trying to get to a Chicago area gig the past two years, and the dates just never seem to work out. She's coming in January the exact day I fly out of town..waiting for another opportunity very soon!

He only waited 12 years to file a complaint.

Was it 12 years ago? I was trying to figure out which concert it was and I knew Woodstock was a long time ago, but I thought maybe I was mistaken about the venue. The statute of limitations wouldn't allow him to file a complaint after that much time had passed.

Well you said the 'venue' was Woodstock and Stevie played there in 1998 or maybe it was 1999? It might be considered an outdoor venue but if you didn't mean to say Woodstock maybe it was from another type of indoor venue. I didn't read the link you had posted.

Maybe it was this performance...I think that is near the site of Woodstock.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking: that they called it Woodstock as a recognition short cut, but that they were really referring to a nearby venue. Like when you refer to someone as playing a big city when the actual concert is in a small town adjacent to the city.
