Another unpopular opinion of mine is that I love Not Make Believe from SYW. They should have gotten rid of "Come" and put NMB on the album. But that would never happen because for some reason Stevie always has the least amount of songs on an album, and Lindsey seems to always have the most. I wonder why that is...

I believe it was exactly 50/50 on "Say You Will."

i love it too
i dislike the TISL demo
but the SYW version is AWESOME
i love how she uses HEAVY in one of her songs

SYW they got 9 songs each tho....

Come should have been switched with I am Waiting
and Silver Girl with Not Make Believe

It hurts my self esteem
It hurts my everything
I am reeling
It hurts my feelings

Here is a really unpopular opinion:

I think Outside the Rain is hands down the best, most rocking song in her setlist right now.

True, but it still kind of pisses me off that she generally has the least amount of songs. And, she has never had an album opener on a FM record.

i love you!!
this is the SOLE reason for me wanting to see Stevie live
to hear her sing THIS! I don't like the album version
but i've been obsessed with this since I first heard a bunch of RAL boots

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!

It is just so-so on the album, but it is amazing live! Don't you just love the gibberish "Well Mick Says Stevie This is Just One More Link In the Chain!!!" and "Babyistyhereanyoneisnthewholeworldwhocantakeitaway!!!!" I got so excited when I first heard that live in Vegas that I practically squealed!

Oh, and I love when she screams "You know, I've been changing. YOU'RE WRONG!!!"

I can't believe most people think this song is a stale setlist tune. I think it has more punch to it than anything else the last few years.

-I prefer the present day Rhiannon to the old Rhiannon versions from the '70s.

What are your shameful Stevie opinions?
I don't like Tom Petty. I don't like his general arrogance as a person and I don't like his attitude towards Stevie. He once called her a "pop star" in a derogatory sense, and according to Stevie, he doesn't want to work with her professionally, but he'll be her friend. I really don't think he is all that talented to warrant the level of arrogance he displays. (He's "no Bob Dylan"!!!!)

Another comment he made was that concerning the recording of "Stop Draggin'", Stevie just added vocals to his already-finished track. Those of us who have heard the "Stop Draggin'" masters know that there were a few different Tom Petty vocal tracks recorded. If what Tom says is true, then why would Stevie be singing along to a "Tom" vocal track that wasn't the final "Tom" vocal track?

I just don't like his attitude.

And I get the impression that's really unpopular here on this list!

Here's a couple more unpopular opinions; I love "When I See You Again" and "Welcome To The Room Sara", and I think they are the best tracks on the "Tango" album.

Thanks for letting me vent!

- Jim
