Yay! I just received my CD and it sounds GREAT. Lindsey's solo stuff sounds so good on remastered CD. Great collection of songs! Its missing my 2 favorites but you cant get everything.

The beauty and magic is in the audio, not the visual mister.

It’s great to hear these songs back to back. I’m mid way through Disc 2 in my car listening on the commute.

LOL! True enough, but I was just answering David's question about whether there were liner notes. However, I freely admit I'm a sucker for liner notes and thank yous and dedications and lyrics and all those other visuals.

I wonder if the 3 CD collection is any different in terms of packaging? Usually these collections have chart listings, album photos, etc.

that's just a single CD / the one that comes with concert tix. the 3CD version has liner notes etc. i didn't have time to look through much yet, just transferred to my itunes so could listen on the Portland trip.

i got 2 of my free CDs today too. the 3CD came from amazon on friday.

DW Suite followed by Ride This Road? heavenly sequence. in fact all 3 CD's have almost perfect sequencing.

the only song i'd get rid off are Time Precious Time and Stars Are Crazy, i would replace them with Wait For You and The Right Place to Fade.

as far as cover songs, i'd much rather have To Try For The Sun than I Am Waiting.

The sequence on the "free" CD flows very nicely.

I can't believe how sparkling clear the remasters are!

Default Excellent

Yeah, I would imagine we all have a song or 2 we wanted included (Mine is On the Wrong Side from the With Honors soundtrack) but overall, it is an amazing collection. When I listened to it over the weekend, it got me very emotional. Hearing Time Bomb Town made me smile!! All the songs sound so fresh and clear with some of the fades sounding much stronger.

I received 2 of my 3 free CDs so far.

yes, very excellent remastered sound! a pity a lot of the songs have been shortened: troube, go insane, doing what I can, I must go, did you miss me, down on rodeo etc.
probably to make all the songs fit on the cd's...

So I got my 3 cd set today and am currently on disc 2. Really enjoying this collection of songs from Lindsey. Some of these songs I've never heard before. Shame on me, but the last record of Lindsey's I bought was OOTC. Almost everything after that is new to me. And I must say that I like his later stuff better. Seems more mature and sophisticated to me. I'm probably going to have to get into all of his solo records now too.

Here's to an artist that wants to keep on giving, not rehashing.

So looking forward to Blue Light!
