Well then Mike and Matt must've been two peas in a pod cuz Mike ain't the most focused person. either.

My high school and others in the area were big on sports so had some folks who went on to the big leagues... Carlos Palomino being the most famous, Nick Neugebauer, Klesko, Maddox as well as a few minor leaguers. We even had one of our cheerleaders go on to become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, back when they were hot. It was the high schools in the surrounding areas that had the actor/entertainer-type alumnis; Steve Martin, Michelle Pfiefer, Steven Segal, Gwen Stefani, Mark McGrath, Jason Lee and Will Farrell to name a few.

Edit: That would be when I lived down in SoCali - not here in the Pacific RainyWest

Not exactly "famous," but Jami from this season's The Bachelor graduated from my high school a year before me. Had a couple of classes with her...really a cool girl.

Hey, my mom has a friend who ironed clothes for the late John Wayne and his family. And, her friend lived in Fountain Valley at the time.

Kelly the "lap girl" who wore a toga during Greek Week Races in the "Revenge of the Nerds" movie graduated from my school She's the one with long blonde hair and has been in a couple of movies as an extra when she was much younger. They filmed it when she was in college in AZ.

She's now a doctor and has reddish hair

I don't know anyone else who became more famous from my school.

I don't think this counts, but the show Gilmore Girls was based on my sister's catholic high school.

Niki Taylor went to my high school. And a couple of major league baseball players, but I'm not a big sports guy, so I don't even remember their names.

Roger Taylor from Queen went to my school - he used to take the same bus home as my Mum. We also had Robert Shaw (Quint from "Jaws") and John Rhys-Davies, who was in "Lord of the Rings". Apart from them, another guy won gold medals at sailing in the Olympics, another guy is a chess Grandmaster, we had two members of Parliament and an opera singer, and a guy called Luke who helped me cheat in a Latin exam is now a reasonably big electronica-type music artist. Sadly I have failed to live up to the expectations of my school and have cheerfully amounted to nothing

I went to two different high schools. I can't really think of anyone famous from one, but Doug Collins (former NBA player/coach) and John Malkovich graduated from the other. I went to school with some of Malkovich's relatives.

The only notable alum of my high school is college football staple Lou Holtz.

My college, Denison University, has some more notable folks:

Sen. Richard G. Lugar '54

Michael Eisner '64

Hal Holbrook

Bobby Rahal

Steve Carell '84

Jennifer Garner '94

Lightbulb Nobody

I don't think anyone famous went to my high school, but a few went to my dad's high school....Arlington Heights High School. John Denver, Bill Paxton and Lee Harvey Oswald are three that I know of. There is a story in my family that John Denver proposed to my aunt, but she turned him down. Don't know the whole story on that, but it's really cool. Lee Harvey Oswald went to Heights, but didn't graduate from there.
