I don't know that I have a TMI limit. I'm trying to think of something, and i'm coming up blank. Must be all those years as a bartender (and now as a counseling intern)! Well, I guess I wouldn't want to know (here in The Ledge, that is) about someone's sexual life in detail. But now that I wrote that I'm thinking I really *wouldn't* mind. Hell, I don't know.

I think it would be better for you to simply say something to the person you feel crossed a line rather than a general statement that well might either offend or inhibit people you likely never had in mind. I'm a little offended at someone lumping a mention about somebody they care for fighting or dying of cancer in with other more trivial annoyances. That's neither funny or annoying that someone mentions that is it? I would hope not.

Is it any wonder that the creator of the PERV thread has viewed mybigdemon's manhood in all of its majesty many a time? I had a photo, turned to poster-size, laminated and it has a proper placement in my bedroom. Sometimes, I...woops...TMI.

Honestly I tend to skip when people share TMI, not much because I'm bothered by those posts but more because they're usually tedious (especially the perv thread... quite uninspiring really) and because the sense of closeness on internet is fake and I don't think it's my business to know so much about the personal life of someone I basically don't know.

Bodily functions are TMI for me, and certain sexual acts. Like when my ex-roommate posted on his LiveJournal about some guy felching him. That was TMI, not to mention totally gross.
