Default Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band

So the FM Tribute band Wildheart is playing a free show at a casino here in Madison this weekend. My husband was asking if I wanted to go, but I have very mixed feelings about this. Part of me thinks this would be really fun, but another part thinks I would be upset and offended by the performance. Anyone ever seen them?

How do you feel about tribute bands?

I'm always attracted to trib bands. I even formed one once.

I don't know why you would be upset and offended. Color me confused.

Tribute bands are there because the people involved admire the band just as much as you do that can't be bad or offensive, surely

I've heard about Wild Heart before. Never seen them, but they seem to try hard that's for sure. Aren't the Lindsey and Stevie husband and wife in this band?

I can understand how one might be upset. We had an Elvis impersenator at my Grandmother's 60th birthday party. If I had a Stevie one at mine I think I would want everything to be perfect about the Stevie. However it doesn't get this personal when you are just watching a band - so I say you go.

I should clarify--upset and offended are too harsh of words to use. I do realize that these folks are paying tribute with is great. I just think I would be sad I wasn't watching the actual Mac.

I must say I thought they were excellent. I've never seen them live. Only from this video you posted.

I have seen several of these online, and there are plenty. They exaggerate Stevie vocals so that they all sound like munchkin goats. They never sing with soul and feeling. Show me someone who can imitate a crazed Rhiannon frenzy and you might get my attention. If it's good. I would be way to critical to see FM. Now other bands I could deal with.

You've never seen my best friend Lisa do Rhiannon with the tribute band Fleetwood Bac!
