This is what Stevie said, but you know how she likes to generalize.

"I wouldn't like to be in movies. Movie people are strange. They live a different life than musicians do. They get up early and work in the day. And I really think they're much wilder than we are. One time, four movie guys walked up to me at a party after a show. I was looking good. And they took me apart with their eyes. I was so completely insulted that I never forgot it. They were so slick and smooth and suited up; it looked like they all had had face lifts with perfectly tanned faces. I'm just a hippie. I wouldn't fit very well into that world. Those guys gave me the creeps. The hair on my arms stood up."

Seinfeld - You're going to have to explain that one to me.
I'm a huge Seinfeld Fan.

Christine is a Seinfeld (and Curb Your Enthusiasm) fan and has said she watched all the episodes multiple times.

I don't think Lindsey is a pedophile either.

I don't think Lindsey is a pedophile either.

I didn't know she liked Seinfeld.
Now I know what to talk to her
about with my "two hours'.

Glad you don't think Lindsey is
a "ped". The young woman (I
made sure not to say "girl") was
thoroughly enjoying all the "love"
that was coming her way at the
show I attended.

This is where she talked about it and is one of my favorite Christine interviews.

and they're legal adults. Large age difference, but both legal age. If the woman was a minor, though, that would be a different story.

That being said, the reaction depends on the person. Some may find it okay, some may find it mighty uncomfortable.

Thanks for the link.

How in the world would Lindsey be able to glance
down and tell if the females were of legal age or
not? Even in perfect lighting that would be hard
if not impossible to do. If the women (girls) that
are standing in front of him at the concerts feel like
they're being ogled - they need to move along. That
is, if they don't like it.

True, that is quite hard to tell. But if one of the parties involved sends body language that tells the other he or she feels uncomfortable with the situation, it's either one needs to back off, or the other needs to walk away.

This happened a few years ago when Stevie's Soundstage was being filmed, iirc. I could be wrong on the event, but it was for a recorded show. Several Ledgies were invited to the front row because they were young and pretty. Men and women. Remember when she did the Today Show in '05 and all anyone could talk about after was Model Girl, whom they kept showing during Landslide?

If this wasn't for a taping, maybe it was just for the photogs so it wouldn't look like rich, old ticket-holders were the only ones in the first few rows. Just to prove that FM is still popular with the coveted 18-25 demographic.

This might be a dumb question...but is it possible to get attention from Linds if you are in like the 4th or 5th row? Maybe stand on a chair or something and try to eye him? Has anyone had any "moments" with him without being in the front row?

Trying to get ideas for when I wear my hot pink get tusked shirt to one of his shows LOL

if you have 5th row tickets, you can easily get to the stage.

but yes, he can see you there if you are in the middle aisle in front of his mic, but not if you are to the side, since it depends where they shine lights on the audience. your best bet is to get by the stage.

of course he can't. that was the whole point of yelling "we are legal" by those girls in Jones Beach.

also, i'm not sure how people get the impression that audience members are being ogled by the band?! band is kinda busy up there, if anybody's ogled it's the band members.

what Lindsey does is making eye contact with people, he smiles and makes faces. he doesn't "ogle" anybody in the audience. he may make more eye contact with someone who is trying to engage him, or someone who may be very pretty to look at. people may interpret this eye contact as "eye sex" or however they like or want, but basically he is just making faces. if you want to avoid any eye contact, don't look in his eyes, look at his guitar since you are there for the music anyway.

I was at the front last night and he kept looking at a pretty young woman right in front of him. She seemed that she was flirting right back, her boyfriend was with her, but you could tell she was such a massive fan.

Lindsey weren't bothered about me: middle age woman standing there. I think even at one point he gave me a dirty look.

LMAO!!! :-)

Maybe pretty young women are such a rare sight for him at FM concerts that whenever he notices one in the front row, he keeps looking at her!

Well, the band and their demographic, are most certainly aging!
