Buckingham/Nicks CD on Ebay?

What is the deal with this "collector's" Buckingham/Nicks cd on eBay that is from a company called Anthem Records? I didn't think that the album had been released in any form, and that was why we have been signing petitions. This is probably someone who is making copies of the album onto cd and saying that it is a collector's copy. Which if this is the case really p@#s me off! I have seen several people pay BIG bucks for these. The last one went for $48, and this one is up to $24.50!
Can anyone shed some positive light on this?

This infuriates me. That Anthem thing has been around a while. Someone has burned copies, put it in a nice-looking package, bought a little shrink-wrap machine (I had one of those back in high school when I sold products for Junior Achievement), and put it on Ebay as a "Collector's Edition." I just wish I could somehow tell everyone in the world THERE IS NO BUCKINGHAM NICKS CD!

Anyone who wants a CD-R copy of the Buckingham Nicks CD, send me a blank CD-R and the money for shipping and handling and I'll make one for you.

A decent CD-R is the same thing I agree, and you will save $30-40 that jazzed up one goes for. I made a decent case insert for mine and took it on disc to a kinkos to print out too. :^) If anyone wants it I could load it up to some webspace and mail you the address; I did a front booklet and a back in .bmp format.

I actually bought one of these a few years ago. It was a "soundboard recording." Yeah, soundboard if you hook a record player up to a soundboard and recorded it that way. I was so disappointed. My own recording done with my copy of the lp and my computer sounded much better--mine had less snap, crackle and pop. B & N need to stop procratinating and get this out. Having a friend who's a musician has opened my eyes to the limitless possibilities of self-publication. They could remaster this, make a bunch of copys and then sell it themselves through the internet and direct marketing on tv. They'd make a bunch of money if they bypassed a big label.

What we need to do is either write e mails to ebay and complain, or write to the people who are bidding on the bootlegs, so they can retract

what these people are doing is SICK
