Default MFBB - 11 shows in Australia/NZ

chain2destiny (thank you!) posted this updated Feb/March Mick Fleetwood Blues Band schedule in the Rumours forum:

The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band
appearing with Boz Scaggs/Michael McDonald at the following selected shows ONLY:

Sutton Grange Winery, Victoria Saturday 20/02/2010
WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong Friday 26/02/2010
Riverstage, Brisbane Saturday 27/02/2010
Westpac Arena, Christchurch Wednesday 03/03/2010
Vector Arena, Auckland Friday 05/03/2010
Pettigrew Green Arena, Napier Saturday 06/03/2010

The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band Solo:

HiFi Bar, Melbourne Friday 19/02/2010
Souths Juniors (The Wintle Room), Sydney Tuesday 23/02/2010
Dee Why RSL, Sydney Wednesday 24/02/2010
Lizotte's, Newcastle Sunday 28/02/2010
Lizotte's, Newcastle Monday 01/03/2010

I'm wondering how their live setlist will change for 2010? The Blue Again album was largely a Peter Green tribute, and I figure they'll still incorporate many of those songs in their 2010 shows, but I hope there are some new songs, too.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Not neccessarily - Mick would be done and back home by early March.

However, if those FM/Eagles Sports Stadium monstrosities come true, then I think you're probably right!

(There's always 2011! )

There's one huge error in your theory, Meowi -- I doubt the MFBB makes all that much money! Mick does gigs with this band for the love of the old blues music that FM started out with.

Now, if you wanna talk about a "money quick scheme," check out what Mick's other band has planned for 2010!

I wouldn't feel too sorry for Mick -- he's happy, healthy, living in a lovely villa in Hawaii, playing with the MFBB for the music he loves and playing with FM for the money he loves -- plus he's best friends with one of the most adored women in rock. That warrants pity?
