Default Ronnie Earl's dedication to Peter Greenbaum?

I've already written about Ronnie's fascination with Peter's music and playing. He dedicated to Peter Green his number Heart of Glass on the CD The Colour of Love. Ronnie plays there in Greeny mood and gives beautiful solo similar to outstanding Peter's solo on All Over Again (aka I Got A Mind To Give Up Living) from a New Orlean's gig - 31.01.1970. On his another CD "Language Of The Soul" at the begining of "Barcelona Morning" Ronnie Earl says a few words and I'm almost sure this is a dedication to Peter Greenbaum. I can hear something like that " .... Peter Greenbaum wherever you are, I want you to know that all the people are here we love you". But I'm not fluent in English )) I need a little help from you. What does exactly Ronnie Earl say??? Here is a piece of "Barcelona Morning". I had to transform mp3 file to zip because of Valid file extensions. Happy New Year to all of you ))

Thank you doodyhead )
It's an interesting interview. I like Ronnie Earl's playing very much - he's a great guitarist - I've collected over 40 CDs with him ))

Yes, we sure do

Thanks for posting this, Krzysztof and doodyhead. I didn't know Ronnie Earl at all. Great to see another great musicians humility and love for Peter Green (I think there was a thread on this a while back).
Great also to see you back on The Ledge Karl-Heinz!

When I saw Peter with the Splinter Group for the first time in September of 1998 at the Long Beach Blues Festival, John Mayall was also on the bill. After Mayall did his set, they had a big all-star jam...Peter & Ronnie Earl played together on one number, it was fantastic! The lineup of the "All-Star Jam":

John Mayall: Keyboard, harmonica, vocals
Peter Green: guitar
Ronnie Earl: guitar
Kim Simmonds: guitar
Mick Taylor: guitar (mainly slide)
Peter Stroud: bass (of the Splinter Group)
Jim McCarty: drums (from the Yardbirds)
Keith Emerson: organ

Amazing that Peter would stand up with these guys back in '98. I mean he wasn't that selfconscious yet in those days.
Pity I wasn't able to see it. Any chance of a video recording by some TV-station?
