People in my family didn't seem to have that many kids for whatever reason. Sometimes I get concerned that my family is disappearing and I'll be all alone. Guess I need to get a family of my own then.

I recently took the Myers Briggs. INTP. The introverted part was definitely not a surprise...the "I" bar went all the way to the end of the graph, so evidently I'm about as introverted as one can be. Again, not a surprise. My therapist told me I'm the most introverted client she's ever had. lol

My social circle these days consists of my partner, his mother, and his sister. And honestly, that's fine with me. If I met someone that I clicked with and we became friends, that would be great, but I'm not interested enough to go out of my way to meet new people.

I frequently run errands (to the store, to get a haircut, etc.) alone, and I guess I mildly prefer that over going with someone else. I'd never go to a restaurant or a movie alone, because frankly it seems kind of pointless. If I want to be alone, I want to be alone, not surrounded by strangers.

Speaking of strangers, I'm privately a little annoyed when I'm out somewhere and someone just starts talking to me. I can't stand for a barber to make small talk with me when I'm getting my haircut; I usually respond to his/her first couple of questions with short, vague answers, and he/she usually gets the hint. My boyfriend, otoh, will engage in 30 minute conversations with salesmen at Lowe's. Drives me up a wall. lol I'm like, "Can we just get what we came here for and go home? The salesman doesn't need to know about your mom's back surgery."
