I would prefer that she finish FM in 2015 and instead of a "24K" tour she record another album then tour in the spring of 2016 and perform a lot of songs from 24K and the next new album...

Wild Heart Starshine Dreams Rooms on Fire 24 Karat Gold Rhiannon Planets of the Universe For What It’s Worth Landslide After The Glitter Fades Watch Chain Stop Draggin My Heart Around Hard Advice Stand Back Secret Love Twisted Edge of Seventeen Lady This will never happen, but this is my dream set list. This should be a TRUE solo tour, so only Stevie's 3 major MAC songs will be included. It's time to give "Gold Dust Woman" and "Sorcerer" and rest. They are great songs, but becoming too road tested. If you want to throw in something from TISL, let's dust off "Planets of the Universe". For that matter, how about a little "Rooms on Fire"? My Pièce de résistance will be OPENING with "Wild Heart". Yes, I know this sounds crazy, but I have recently RE-discovered this epic song and it would be a killer opener. (Stranger things have happened....opening the show with a Led Zepplin song???) Closing the show with just Stevie, a spotlight, a piano and "Lady" would be wonderful! Last edited by WatchChain; 10-03-2014 at 09:26 PM.. |

I guess the band is more concerned with lining their pockets with cash ( 2014 tour ) instead of finishing a record...Stevie has now committed an additional 2 years to FM because of CM's return so after the 2015 tour it's time for Stevie to move on and do her thing.

These threads are always fun!!!
This isn't my "dream set list", because 90% of what I would choose would be obscure deep cuts, so I tried to come up with something realistic for Stevie. Keeping most of the Mac and solo hit singles, yet giving room to perform at least six new songs off the new record. Also, I wanted to have EVERY one of her solo albums represented in this set list. So here goes... 1. Rooms On Fire 2. Stand Back 3. Belle Fleur 4. Dreams 5. 24 Karat Gold 6. Sorcerer 7. Moonlight 8. Gold Dust Woman 9. Watch Chain 10. How Still My Love 11. Hard Advice 12. If Anyone Falls 13. Blue Denim 14. Talk To Me 15. Rhiannon 16. All The Beautiful Worlds 17. Edge Of Seventeen 18. If You Were My Love (encore) |

I agree,I think thats what will happen. 2015 will support the new MAC album. I see her putting out a Volume 2 of 24k and then doing a tour. |

As long as these make the list...
"Belle Fleur" "24 Karat Gold" "All The Beautiful Worlds" "The Dealer" I'll take whatever she decides to give us!

The standard set of songs she performs with Fleetwood Mac are essentially the same ones she features in her solo shows time in memorial. Those songs wouldn't be too missed if they went away and freed up room for a purely Stevie solo set. In my grab bag selection the only hint of Lindsey/Fleetwood Mac would be the song Crystal, but rendered in the newer arrangement of her solo version. She has dozens and dozens of songs that deserve to have their moment on stage, so this is a random selection. Her show would have to be five hours long or more to accommodate all of them.
Though she has surprised us with the appearance of a few songs we never expected (especially the cover songs), she's just not the kind of fluid performance artist who can drastically vary her setlists from tour to tour. There's a hard line drawn between road songs and studio tracks, and a very mindful balance between well known/hits and new or deep tracks --- with a large degree of consideration and appeasement to the general public, rather than hardcore fans. I'm not a fan of having certain songs nailed in place (in the same sequence) for decades onward. For some, the familiarity is comforting; for me it's stale and uninspiring. Each tour should be fresh and surprising, and not like a movie you've seen a dozen times over, so you already know the plot and what to expect. It's just a wish, it was just a wish... 1. Starshine 2. Rooms on Fire 3. Sorcerer 4. Wild Heart 5. Kind of Woman 6. If You Ever Did Believe 7. Lady 8. Crystal 9. Ooh My Love 10. 24 Karat Gold 11. For What it’s Worth 11. Talk to Me 12. Belle Fleur 13. I Don’t Care 14. All the Beautiful Worlds 15. Stand Back encores 16. Highway Man 17. Edge of Seventeen
