yes, it does seem so, that she's living in the past in many ways and projecting everything that went wrong on Lindsey somehow.

wonder who is she taking it all out on now when Lindsey is not around to shoulder it.

Lindsey's heart attack / emergency heart surgery was less than a month ago, so i have no idea what is the meaning of "still" to posters who say stuff like this. few hours?

he may never perform again. his health scare quite possibly wouldn't have happened without all the stress of the last year, something he described as "walking around with a visceral reaction for months" and his wife described as a highly stressful year in the very post informing of his emergency open heart surgery.

The important thing to recall about those Tango stories (and the New Zealand tour story) is that they surfaced for the FIRST time only in 1990 in "My Life and Adventures"—a book ghostwritten by Stephen Davis. In 1989, Mick was a drug-addled mess and Stephen Davis has since been criticized as an opportunistic and dishonest hack with his book about Stevie.

Before 1989 and the book in question, NOBODY knew (or said) anything about throwing a guitar onstage in New Zealand or choking an ex in the parking lot (although Timothy White came close in his 1989 Musician cover story).
interesting stuff.

An abortion is not a form of birth control, that is a disgusting idea.

The abortion is usually a last resort due to health reasons, social reasons, mental health reasons and God forbid, if the woman’s pregnancy is due to rape.

Sorry but I felt quite strongly....
yes. most. I agree it is not all black and white. Stevie clearly used it as birth control because she was a horrible mess and couldnt remember, or threw up her pill or whatever. However, Stevie CHOSE Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll as a priority in her life. She chose her career, and fame. She Chose to dump LB to the curb and pursue other men. Everything, including her lack of children were HER choice. Those dead children, some of which she even NAMED, (sara etc) made her MILLIONS through writing songs about. (which I now think is kind of disgusting in a morbid and not sane way)

Now she is at the end of year life and instead of regretting any of it and living with her choices, she is taking her HATE out on LB. A man who loved her, impregpentad her at least once, and possibly would have married and loved her still. He moved on and is has found happiness. Until the she took her contempt out on his whole world.

Couldn’t agree more with you. Fantastic post.

Her current life is the life SHE chose. To take her frustrations out on LB now is unfair. Lindsey loved her all his life. Not so sure it was reciprocated.

God, people get so fussy when you bring up abstinence. And there are plenty of pro life atheists.

I learned this in College...Because. Modern concepts of Morality and Ethics are rooted in Ancient judaeo-christian belief systems values. Up till the last 20 years that was “OK”. But it goes against the creeping culture of Facism, Socialism, and some other Isms. Therefore they are BAD and need to be search out and destroyed. In a nut shell, Abstaining is consitered akin to religious because it is a concept pushed by people who worship God.

But it doesn't have to be. My bff is agnostic and she's a virgin waiting until marriage. Its just safer that way.
And tbh, I just don't see the appeal of sex. I know its natural, but hey so is peeing and pooping. In fact it actually sounds like it would be quite painful...

I have a friend, who used to sleep around all the time, with as many as 3 partners a week. Then he started dating someone, and found out how much more sex meant, when it was with someone he loved. His relationship finally ended, but he had no desire to go back to the bed hopping. He realized that "just sleeping around" was actually a soul draining experience. He's been celibate for about 3 years or so, now. I guess if love is your priority, casual sex just isn't worth it(for some).

Do whatever feels right for you.
