i'm surprised there's acknowledgement of the existence of Tango even. [Bella Donna, no no, i was not referring to you, i love the new liveliness you brought up to the board! ]

Fleetwood Mac is not really political. In 1995 Christine McVie went on the record in her online chat interview (gosh remember when online chat was something) and stated she would have never voted for Bill Clinton. But she was honored that a president would use her music. That is a class act! How many artists today would say the same thing. I remember in 2008 when they played Heart's Barracuda at the GOP convention (Sarah Palin was called Barracuda by her college basketball team) and Heart instantly told them to never play that song again.
When Hillary Clinton invited Fleetwood Mac to the White House in 2000 to perform, Christine McVie declined but the band still went on to play Don't Stop. Their song was played in a political campaign but I don't make that leap Fleetwood Mac is political. They did get involved in the 1980 Senate campaign of Birch Bayh but that was because the senator helped the Mac on something. As for the song Don't Stop. Its incredible. Its a terrific piano shuffle that was taken to another level with Lindsey. Still to this day, I turn it up on the radio. That song has helped me emotionally through many different hard parts of my life. The songs I would skip on a FM album? Caroline and Welcome to the room Sara. And Hard Feelings from Behind the Mask LMAO

If for no other reason, the EP was decent because Sad Angel is really bloody brilliant. Indeed, it's one of Lindsey's best ever FM songs. It's a shame it's burried on the EP. I hope it will get a new lease of life one day on another release.
I'll skip Storms. I just find it kinda boring. |

Re: Sad Angel
Sad Angel and Miss Fantasy were definite highlights of that EP and deserve to have Christine added in and placed on a new album.

I skip all of Stevie's songs on Tango.
As for the EP, "Sad Angel" is great, and I love "It Takes Time." I'd like to hear a version with Christine playing. |

Seven Wonder is fairly decent.

On Say You Will I only ever listen to Stevie's half of the content. That project really shows why she is loathe to work with Linds again, his songs are self indulgent eewww!!s, as has been the case on every FM album he has worked on since Tusk.

On balance I'd say I was the other way. Overall I'd prefer Lindsey's songs on SYW. Each to their own.
