Most of the people commenting on her FB page appear to be functionally illiterate. That makes it difficult to take their opinions seriously.
This sounds very interesting, and I like it a lot. |

Not really liking this part of the song, but I loved loved loved the first clip we heard of it. Maybe it will turn out like Everybody Loves You, which also had a lot of hate based on the intial snippet.

I like this a lot. I love the attitude, as someone else mentioned. Although the 15 second clips can be frustrating, it is nice that they're doing this. Better than nothing.

Well this is different from the clip Dave posted..."I Don't care"
Judging by the clips it is a rocking song indeed... |

This is my least favourite clip so far - just personal taste on the style of song though. The song sounds good and the vocals are excellent. It will probably be one of those that grows on me when I can listen to the whole thing. I'm glad it's a change in music style from the other clips, variety on an album is so important to keep it interesting. Stevie's always liked her rockers so it's good to see one here

I like the guy who said, "Come on Stevie we need another scorcerer or rihanna."
Yes, I really do wish she would write another "Rihanna." That's my favorite song of hers. "Scorcerer" ain't half bad either.

Yikes! The people on Facebook are being so cruel. All this hate for a 15-second clip.
I will say this clip isn't my favorite of the bunch released so far, but it's not bad. It sounds like a slow-burning blues/rock track that (based on Dave's earlier clip) picks up momentum as it goes along. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the entire (6-minute-long!) version. It's funny how people just cling so desperately to the young version of Stevie and have a hard time accepting that she's a 66-year-old woman who's voice has changed, who's look has evolved, yet who's passion and commitment to music and her fans is as strong as ever. I'm glad Stevie doesn't check her Facebook page, especially today! |
