Sure, everyone flying on that airplane gets to the destination at the same time but are you honestly naive enough (or don't really understand how airline seating actually works) to think that someone in coach has the exact same flight experience as someone in first class? No, they don't. If you pay for a cheaper seat, you are going to have a much more uncomfortable flight. And forget the chance of getting any perks like they do in first class. Hell, when I take my dog on vacation Rover has to ride in baggage. He gets there the same time I do but do you think his flight was near as comfortable as mine up in first class? Or coach? Nope.

From reading some comments in this thread I get the impression you don't pay for your tickets anyway. If that's true, you obviously aren't able to, or don't care to, understand where the individuals on this board who are frustrated at ticket prices are coming from because it's an issue that doesn't matter in the least to you.

You can't understand why some people like to be near the stage so they don't have to carry binoculars or high-powered telescopes used only by NASA just to be able to actually see the band they paid so much to see or have waited so long to see? You can't understand why some people might like to be near the stage so they could get the opportunity to shake Stevie or Lindsey's hand? Wow, you must really be out of touch with us simple folks. Course, we should all just suck it up and pay for the cheap seats and spend the evening squinting at the stage while having beer spilled all over us by the rowdy fangirls behind us that couldn't afford the $1,000 tickets.

I'm sorry, NO band is worth tickets that cost as much as FM is charging this time around.
Binoculars? NASA telescopes? Exaggerate much? I have been going to rock concerts since I was 12 and was about 14 the last time I cared about shaking someone's hand on stage.

I see hyperbole is something else you can't understand.

Just because it isn't important to YOU doesn't mean it isn't important to other people. Your opinion isn't the only one out there, thankfully. If everyone felt the same way you do about this Stevie would have abandoned the Edge Walk years ago. Lindsey and Stevie wouldn't go to the edge of the stage to shake hands and talk with the fans at all. There wouldn't be any need. Obviously, shaking hands and interacting with Fleetwood Mac is very important to the fans of the band because it happens at every show. Not only do the fans enjoy it, the band members do as well.

What's the point of going to a concert if you don't want to experience everything about it? That's boring. You can just sit around and listen to music at home without paying these exorbitant ticket prices.

And Stevie and Lindsey are charging you $750 for that "experience". You are complaining about that AND telling me it's the only way to enjoy the show. If people are wiling to pay that and want to pay that, I think that is fine. I am a huge fan and I get it. I will see multiple shows and enjoy this tour, the music and the show every time.

i am not quite sure what the fuss is about the platinum ticket prices they do that for every artist these days. if you just wait then 1. the closer it gets to the show the platinum ticket prices go down and 2. any leftover tickets will be put back in the pool of tickets closer to the show which you can buy for face value.
i always do this and have never had a problem pulling up good seats for every single show and i go to a ton of concerts. the last 2 times FM came i ended up getting front row and third row (i watched the show from the front row anyway) so its in your best advantage to wait to the buy tickets.
now if i am really cheap i wait until the day before or day of the show and go on stubhub and i can always find a ticket for at least 1/3 of the price or half price. for Madonna's MDNR tour i paid $90 a ticket for that show and those same seats were going for $350 a pop. now for Cher which i just saw last week i waited until the week before and got 5th row at face value for $159 a ticket on ticketmaster but those same seats were going for $88 the day of the show so i really should have just waited. these are sold out shows i am talking about too.

anyway what i am trying to say is there is no reason to go crazy and spend the insane amount they are asking for regarding the platinum tickets because there will always be other ways to get them later on stubhub, ebay, craigslist etc and even on ticketmaster at the last minute.

Default General Sale

Just a heads up, I was able to find single floor tickets for Columbus in sections 1 and 4...if anyone was looking. Not buying them, just checking out ahead of noon for the Pittsburgh sale.

Couldn't pull up anything in the front 3 sections of the floor for Atlanta. Anyone else have luck?

This is true. Many of my Stevie/FM friends who do this, nab great seats thrown back into the pool the week before, the day before, the day of, even mere hours before the concert starts. The caveat being that all these friends are just looking for one ticket. I want to go with my partner, and this is not a sure bet stategey even trying to get just two tickets, much less fans who are trying to get 3 on up seats for themselves and family/friends, and want to sit together. Just something to keep in mind.

i always buy tickets in pairs and only went to one concert by myself so this has always 100% worked for me. i will say getting say 3-4 seats together is tougher but sometimes its best just to be split up just to get the best seats.

I just spend $214.60 for the Hartford tix.The seats look OK on the seating map.
$214.60 with the BS ticket fees and shipping is average in the last few years what the casinos ,Jones Beach and some of the shed shows been charging .

Jones Beach was the same price as this show.

It looks like Chris did not influence to raise tix prices as we figured but she will help on selling more tix for FM and quicker sellouts.

If they stop in Atlantic City at the Borgata or the Boardwalk Hall .The tix seem to be the cheapest there.I dont know why.The Connecticut casinos are a ripoff.

I pulled PHX lowers at face right away that were decent. I think these were the same tix available for the pre-sale as I have a friend that bought the same section.

Just bought tickets for both concerts in Inglewood and I bought them with my dad's credit card. Is that a problem? I'm international, so the only option they gave me was Will Call (to pick up the tickets at the venue)

You may have to claim them with that credit card. I assume you will have to have a picture ID as well. That could be a problem if the credit card and ID name don't match. Look at fine print for info on that show. It should all be there in terms and conditions.

Well it looks like FM's promoter and management took all the decent seats to scalp again. Ticketmaster is totally rigged at this point. What a joke.
