Default What women would you put in the White House this year?

We saw a play on Barbara Jordan today, and afterwards the actress commented that so many people expected her to be the first female president of the USA.
I'm NOT advocating that anybody should pick a candidate based on gender. Please don't tell me it shouldn't matter. I know that. Just curious, which women could you see yourself voting for (based on qualifications, of course) if they ran instead of (or against) Bush & Kerry/company? I'm not talking about eight years from now, I mean THIS year.

I think Bob Dole's wife Liddy Dole is okay. I think Hillary is okay, but she. like her huisband and the current President, is a devisive figure. I like Carol M. Braun, but she is not a go getter enough.

I remember some time ago there was talk of Susan Molinari possibly running but she hasn't been mentioned really since the GOP convention back in 96'....I liked her. I like Elizabeth Dole..she's not bad but I agree with what Jason said about both Elizabeth and Hillary. Honestly though, and I hate to say this...I don't really see any single person that would do a knockout job as President that's a female currently in government...I really don't.

-Nancy Pelosi (she's as liberal as they get)

-Carol Moseley Braun (I supported her first and foremost)

-Hillary Clinton (just to see the neocon pigs squirm)

-Teresa Heinz Kerry (smart as a whip and could eat Bush for breakfast)

I'm not a big fan of Liddy, and a mother at school looks and talks just like her. I wouldn't vote for her, either.

I grew up near wear Henz's husband died, and I lived in Chicago when Braun was first elected. I could see myself voting for Hillary.

Geez, I could just see the Saturday Night Live & MadTV impressions of Ivins if she were in the Oval Office.

Olympia Snowe

Condoleeza Rice (Although the Iraq debacle probably would prevent her from ever having a shot. I still think she's brilliant, though.)

I like Liddy Dole, but I doubt I'd vote for her. I think Hillary is brilliant, too; I just disagree with her on most everything.
