Default Who is your favorite......

Who is your favorite newest comedian? (Or is it comic?)

I have to say I realy enjoy Maria Bamford. I got her newest cd recently and it is so refreshing, finally someone who can get laughs without being crude or cursing every other word.

who do you like?

For being such a young person, I've never been able to keep up with the new stuff. I'm still watching Bill Cosby, Himself every week.

I'm out of the loop. The last good comedian I saw live was Elanie Boozler.

Cool My faves...

They aren't really new, but I love Brian Regan and Bill Engvall.

I also like Dave Attell, he's dirty but hilarious and his show is a trip!!

WOW, Bill Cosby, Himself...I remember seeing that back in the day with my parents, and we were dying at his dentist bit!!

"Obee kaybee!"

Dressed To Kill...have you seen that??? He's HYSTERICAL. I'm pretty sure he's been around for a while in the UK but in the past few years, he finally made his way to the US

Margaret Cho is a riot

Caroline Rhea is a sweetheart...I went to a live taping of her show last year....unfortunately, I don't think the show made it...they don't play it here anymore at least.

I saw Margaret Cho twice back in October and she's truly gifted.

"Hi, my name is Gwen, I'm here to WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSHHHHHH your..." LMAO!!!

The Caroline Rhea show is still on in my area on late-night. I believe it's on ABC Family. She's pretty risque for a family channel, IMO. I saw her two years ago and got to meet her (the picture I took with her came out absolutely horrible; I was sweating like a stuck pig because it was so f*cking hot!!!) and I thought she was such a doll. Very down-to-earth and genuine. It was right before Whoopi left Hollywood Squares and Caroline was cracking jokes about it.

I like Dave Attell on Insomniac, but I don't know how much I like his stand-up. David Cross is hilarious, I saw him in Austin a couple months back at Austin Music Hall---he was a scream in a satiricle-political-in-your-face kind of way. Another really funny comedian is that slackeresque, 70's throwback looking guy Mitch Hedwig (not sure if that name is acurate) that guy is hysterical!!

Mitch Hedberg. He's my favoritest comedian. I've seen him twice in the past year. Once solo and the other time opening for Dave Attell and Lewis Black (who I have also grown quite fond of).

don't know if she is considered new, but amy sedaris rocks. strangers with candy was one of the best tv series of all time. her costars are great too--stephen colbert and paul dinello. (recommend their latest book/audio cd effort, Wigfield).

also hilarious is david sedaris.

George Carlin, Steven Wright, Bob Newhardt, Bill Cosby. Carlin's ranting about his "Stuff" and where to keep it about makes me cry from laughing! Steve Wright is just so dead pan that I can't help loving his stuff. Bob and Bill's old stuff is brilliant and still works today.
