DECEMBER 2011- all dates cancelled

If this is true then I am disgusted.

I find it impossible to believe that for a mere handful of shows (hardly an enormous tour) neither Lindsey nor any of the venues could find any available dates to reschedule for a whole year? Even if he will be busy with Fleetwood Mac and other projects the dates could have been fitted in. These venues do not book up an entire year in advance. Even if they did, plenty other artists have moved to other venues in order to honour cancelled dates.

Since it was Lindsey's camp that had to cancel in the first place, which of course was unavoidable and I wish Neale a speedy recovery, their diaries should then be readjusted to accommodate the changes that they caused. It would show some respect for the fans that bought tickets and had waited years to see them - a wait of which they must be fully aware.

If the whole tour has been cancelled it sounds like they couldn't be bothered rescheduling things. I bet if it was shows at MSG or somewhere larger then things would be a little different...

Of course I'm still hoping that this is not true.

I wish I was a fan of somebody who respected his fans enough to at least try for them. I'm struggling to even call myself a Lindsey fan at the moment.

Surely he could have either done the tour without Neale or bring in a replacement. Lindsey is after all - the guitarist!
You seriously think that's an option? Wow...

I'm gutted too...but they are like a family. Neale has been there with him for so long....hardly replaceable....

I think the people who have had the luxury of seeing Lindsey perform live have the understanding to know how their on stage dynamic works. Those of us humble fans whose first and possibly only chance of seeing him has been snatched away just don't have that luxury. We bought tickets purely because we wanted to see Lindsey perform.

I understand that. I was due to see him on this tour too. But he clearly wouldn't want to give any less than 100% and obviously feels that would be impossible without his right hand man. I'm disappointed too but respect his choice

The way I feel right now, I find it very difficult to respect his choice. But I'm going to hold my tongue. I'm just bitterly hurt and disappointed by his decision.

Sympathies to everyone who had tickets for the UK & Ireland. (I didn't book for Edinburgh just coz I'm broke, really.) It's such rotten luck, though, when you've waited so long.

I am absolutely gutted. Can't even talk about it right now

Edit: It's not on LB's official site. Am hoping this is an error on live nation's part.

If it is an error then I can't put into words how happy that would make me, if its true, then I have absolutely no words. So devastated.

WEEK RUINED.

I'm wondering if it's just VIP packages that have been cancelled...

So many questions and no answers!

According to Live Nation is the whole tour. If it were going to be selective, it would make more sense for them to cancel general admission and only allow VIP packages.

I have just had an email from The Sage. Gateshead.

Lindsey Buckingham - UPDATE

Following on from the announcement earlier this week that the
Lindsey Buckingham Tour (due here on Tuesday 13th December) has
been postponed we have now been informed by Live Nation that
unfortunately it has been cancelled. His guitarist has severely
injured his back and is not able to presently perform and it has
not been possible for them to reschedule new dates for 2012.

Please ensure you go back to your point of purchase for a refund.

Live Nation apologise for any inconvenience caused.

****

To say I am gutted is an understatement.

Gill.

That's a good point.
Think I'm just looking for a glimmer of hope now and there just isn't one.

I can't believe it. How is it not possible to reschedule anytime during the year? Seriously!?
