Stefan, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm still looking for that CD.

Girl, I am going to every date within 10 hours driving distance! The sad thing is that I am totally serious, if time and finances allow me. I know, I'm obsessed. But I have already agreed to drive Lux and Joe around to all of these of they make the trek to America, so I'm not the only one!

MAC ATTACKS TO KEEP ON COMIN'

Mick Fleetwood says the Mac's current tour won't be the last time you'll see
them. He said that even though he expects both Stevie Nicks and Lindsey
Buckingham to be doing solo albums in the near future, that doesn't spell
the end of the reunited band. Fleetwood said he foresees the band getting
back together to record again within 5 years. In other news, Mick mentioned
that estranged Fleetwood Mac-er Christine McVie is working on a solo album,
too, and that he'd heard the material, which he called "classic Christine."

RAITT, FRAMPTON, OSBORNE, FLEETWOOD ON U.S.-CUBAN RELEASE

To be released this July: Bridge to Havana, a new CD/DVD that bridges two
cultures through music and goodwill. Legendary American, English and Cuban
music artists gathered in Cuba for a week to collaborate through songwriting
sessions and performances, fusing R&B, rock, Latin and pop sounds. The
project features an array of artists, including: Bonnie Raitt, Mick
Fleetwood, Peter Frampton, Joan Osborne and many others joined with
legendary Cuban musicians. The most compelling sessions have been compiled
for the release.
5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy moley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will all be in their sixties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why would it take them so long? There are hundreds of demos lying around, right? The key is to release album after album before they are too old to be a part of this business anymore!

Please tell me your wrong, please, please, please! Farwell tours? Last solo album? I want Stevie to release a lot more solo albums and I want a lot more FM tours. Please say this is not like the last decade FM does anything meaningful!
I mean, just beacause they are getting older doesn't mean they have to quit. There are lots of bands out their with people in their sixties, right? And they are still touring, right?
