"The Ledge"
"Not That Funny" "That's Enough For Me" These 3 are the only songs on Tusk I dislike; I love pretty much every other one. Oddly enough, "SMAP" and "WATL" are amongst my all time favorite LB tracks, and many seem to dislike them.

Not That Funny - no, it really isn't all that funny
Thats Enough for Me - there's a decent song in there somewhere (Can't remember the alternate version and whether it's any good off the top of my head). The album version is okay until the silly shouting bits. Storms - So many people seem to like this so much. I don't get it. For me it just drags and drags. Boring. Used to hate The Ledge but it's grown on me over the years. Last edited by FuzzyPlum; 05-17-2016 at 03:20 PM.. |

I've never cared for Not That Funny. I liked it even less when I saw it performed live, and stretched out to 8 or 9 minutes. The Ledge and Never Make Me Cry are not my favorites but they're OK. I pretty much love the rest of the album.
That's All For Everyone is one of Lindsey's best songs on Tusk. I love the tight harmonies in the middle of the song when they're singing the long notes. |

"Not That Funny" is better live, but really, I love the whole album. Every song has its purpose and place.

"Never Make Me Cry" hands down, least favorite. Every other song I like, though I skip "That's Enough for Me" sometimes because LB's songs get a bit same samey and that's his most expendable one for me.

I had always disliked the final version of "Save Me a Place," but when I heard the Alternate Tusk version, it instantly became one of my favorite songs on the album. For me, this was a prime example of "less is more" and the beauty in simplicity.
Other songs from Tusk I'm not really a fan of are "What Makes You Think You're the One," "Not That Funny," and "Never Make Me Cry."

Yeah, I haven't either. Most fans regard it as a classic. When people say this, it's usually more dislike of the singer than anything else. But yes, to each his/her own, something I'm appreciating me as I get older.

It is my favorite SN song from Tusk and it is my oldest daughters name, but it's spelled with an "h" at the end.

I played it in it's entirety tonight and I simply cannot answer that. I still adore the whole damn thing.

For some reason or another, Never Make Me Cry always tends to make me cry...
It's one of my favourite Chris songs, and one of the "sweet" songs on Tusk that make it one of the albums nearest to my heart.
