I'm just gonna tape Desperate Housewives in the other room, I can't miss four Franz songs. What is with Sunday nights nowadays? The only good stuff is on and they all air at the same bloody time.

Rock with a little new wave thrown in. I'm sure Amazon has sound clips. I don't like current music at all, but they're fabulous.

They're doing four songs.

-Take Me Out
-This Boy (new song)
-What You Said (new song)
-Do You Want It? (new single)

Grammy clothes are always so ridiculous, I love making fun of them.

How come they get to do so many songs? I thought most people only got to do one.

Beats me, but I'm not complaining. The less I hear from Kanye West and U2, the better. Chances are it will just one big long medley, though.

I hope it's Gretchen. I don't mind her.

My soul will weep. They're both hacks. I'd rather see The Killers take it before either of them. And why the f*ck wasn't Franz nominated in that category? They're new.

Well, The Killers are not nominated. Maroon5, Joss Stone, and some other group is. I like Maroon5....I really do. I'm pulling for them.

"I am so excited about meeting Ray Charles."

"30 odd years ago, I forgot to wear my diaphragm..." (Introducing Melissa).

The Franz performance is a medley. I hate medleys. Even FM's on the Grammys in '98 was awful. Well- not awful. There was the appearance of the Long Black Velvet Coat. Other than that? awful.

I'm rooting for Gretchen. She's ****ing fabulous. And, uh? Thank GOD the Killers aren't nominated, why would they be? Talk about hacks. That album puts me to sleep, and they're seriously one of the worst live acts I've ever seen.

The Grammys are such crap. I think it'll be a Kanye sweep- with a little Ray Charles and Usher thrown in. Next year I hope it's Kanye's protege John Legend picking up that best new artist award.

I'm going to watch the first half hour and that's it. All my favorite Sunday night shows are new tonight.
