Christine Perfect on the BBC

I hope this wasn't asked before - and if it was, please point out the according thread.

I just acquired the two books by Ken Garner on the BBC Peel sessions. There I stumbled across a session Christine did, where she wasn't backed by her band but the Derek Wandsworth Orchestra. It was recorded on October 13, 1969 and broadcast on the November 1, 1969 episode of "Top Gear". This is the tracklisting:

Sunshine Hours
With Pen In Hand
Of special interest are the latter two ("With Pen" being a Bobby Goldsboro song and "Sunshine" completely unknown to me).

I then discovered the existence of a BBC Transcription Service LP, which features three of the four songs ("Sunshine Hours" missing) plus an interview with Brian Matthew. Does anybody out there have these recordings or are they accessible somewhere? Any info welcome!

I know nothing about this but would love to hear it. The later session she did with her backing band was great, as was the earlier one where she performed with Chicken Shack. What you describe is new to me—and that’s exciting.
