I Wonder Why is one of my least faves. Blow By Blow on Time does little for me, but the original from Soccer Rocks The Globe was pretty good. I know they were going for a harder/edgier version on the album, but it just seemed excessive.

None of Dave's stuff compares to his music from Alone Together through Let It Flow. If he had brought pop gems like that to the Mac, his presence would've made total sence. Hell, even another version of Only You Know And I Know would've been great...Why not? They almost redid The Bigger The Love...

They DID redo "The Bigger The Love"...they just didn't release it.

I thought "I Wonder Why" was good...it was genius how he used lyrics from his earlier hits and packed them into one song. It's right there with Jeremy Spencer basically taking "Buddy Holly's Greatest Hits" and lyrically smushing them into one song.
