Unhappy One of the saddest albums...

I have in my collection, Queen's "Made In Heaven" album from 1995. The tracks on "Made In Heaven" were the last tracks Freddie Mercury recorded before succumbing to AIDS in Nov.1991 (There were rumors that Queen recorded about 3 albums of material before Freddie's death...But Brian May has long said that is not true.)

"Mother Love" is the song that has been long rumored that Freddie recorded the vocal track for just a day before passing on from life (Which may explain why the song sounds somewhat unfinished)...The lyrics of the following songs throughout the album are rather depressing: "Heaven For Everyone", "Too Much Love Will Kill You", "Let Me Live", "My Life Has Been Saved" & "A Winter's Tale".

Here Comes The Rain Again-Eurythmics
and...
Midnight Cruiser-Steely Dan
(Odd combo, but I've been playing these two songs back to back often today.)

There's something so sad and erily wierd too about an made by someone knowing they were dying and this was for sure their final album. Warren Zevon's The Wind is in the same category.

Why thank you. I never could get into the garbage that other kids my age listen to. 'Cause that's what it is - utter garbage.

Don Henley - The Boys Of Summer
and
Flash Dance....one.more.time. before I'm off to school (ugh).

See, I AM in touch with my feminine side!

Lets see, I have been listening to the new Gwen Stefani CD for the last couple of weeks and I am really loving it. It is very 80's but in a good way!!

Here is the rest:
Fiona Apple - When the Pawn & Tidal
Nelly - Sweat and the song N De Say from Suit
Eminem - encore song.
Lindsey Lohan - available on mtv.com "The Leak". Not too bad of a CD. I am liking this more and more as I listen.
Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography - I know she might not have the best voice but that is what I like about her. This album rocks. Definitley one of my favorites this year.
Fleetwood Mac - Live In Boston
John Mayer - Heavier Things - I am in love with this cd too. Clarity, Bigger Than My Body, Daughters, Somethings Missing and Only Heart are great songs.
Maroon 5- Songs About Jane - Absolutely wonderful CD. I have been listening to this cd for the last year and a half and I still love it. Every single song is good. You dont find that too often these days.
Maroon 5- Acoustic CD - good stuff except for the ACDC cover.
Sheryl Crow - Very Best Of.

Exclamation Currently...

"Breakthru" by Queen from their awesome "The Miracle" disc...Love the video with the members of Queen riding a flatcar of a train through the English countryside while playing.
