Question The Singer Not The Song...

I never knew that this song was written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards in 1965 (Or "Gotta Get Away" for that matter...I just received my Rolling Stones-"Singles Collection-The London Years" boxed set and thought that those titles sounded very familiar)...Now that's very interesting, I always thought it was an original by Lindsey. Did anyone else not know that fact? How many Rolling Stones songs has Lindsey covered???...Brian J.

How do the Rolling Stones versions compare to Lindsey's? Has Lindsey changed much?

Thumbs up Lindsey's versions...

do the originals justice IMO...The melody is there on Linds' version but he adds his own lil' twist to them, Which is cool because why do a cover and retread whats already been done, Right?...Brian J.

"Blue Turns To Grey" and "She Smiled Sweetly" too. If you haven't already, check out Neil's GOS page.

Lindsey's versions were "faithful" to the original Stones versions. And, "improved upon" in a few ways, as well. They're not exactly the "cream of the crop" of Stones tunes to begin with.

My favorite of the four is She Smiled Sweetly. The only one I don't like is Blue Turns To Grey.
