"Rooms On Fire" & "Everywhere" song parodies on myspace

Hey everyone...

I had thought about doing this before but shied away from the idea... but then again I figured, well some of you might get a kick out of it anyways! I have a myspace music page where I've recorded parody versions of "Rooms On Fire" (called "Maru's On Fire") and "Everywhere" (called "Anywhere"). The reason I avoided sharing this here before is that the subject of the parodies has nothing to do w/ Fleetwood Mac, instead the lyrics are about my very strange uncle, Uncle "J". I wrote parody lyrics about him for quite a few Fleetwood Mac songs in my teens (for some strange reason, their song lyrics always inspired me to come up w/ good Uncle J material!)... then I had recorded a couple to entertain my family back then. There are 2 versions of "Everywhere" posted on there. The first was the original one I did for a CD I shared w/ my family (it's the last song posted in the playlist)... the second version was just an alternate attempt to get a more "organic" sound. In some ways, it ended up sounding less organic than the first.. lol! But I hope you guys will enjoy them and take them for what they are... just for fun!

You can hear a song w/ voice samples of the real Uncle "J" on the song "What A Stoop!", so you'll get an idea of what my family deals with every holiday!
