Faith is a hard thing to hold on to something inside you says "I don't have to!"

I wish I could play this song louder but everyone is asleep, but that is what I am listening to!

Talking Heh.

"Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner from the GREAT movie "Apocalypse Now"...

The funny thing about this movie (Even though WAR SUCKS and killing is NEVER funny during a WAR!!!) is when Robert Duvall's character Col.Kilgore wanting some soldier's in his squad to Surf while a battle is raging on...I could see this scene being played out now in Iraq with Bush as Duvall's character wanting some to surf ("Charlie Don't Surf") as others are dying, And I can just picture the Shrub standing on a Iraqi beach as "Col.Kilgore" (Reprinted from the script of the movie):

(almost to himself)

Kilgore-"You smell that. (louder) You smell that?"

Lance-"What?"

Kilgore-"Napalm, boy -- nothing else in the world smells like that --They reflect the glow from the burning trees.

Kilgore (continuing; nostalgically)
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. One time we had a hill bombed for 12 hours. I walked up it when it was all over; we didn't find one of 'em ...not one stinking g--- body. They slipped out in the night -- but the smell -- that gasoline smell -- the whole hill -- it smelled like ...
(pause) victory..."

He looks off nostalgically.
