Uncropped version. Still trying to find a higher resolution.

Wonder if this is the big Mediterranean place Mick and Christine are renting?

Yes Christine is still in England and they popped her head on that other person.

Damn, you mean to tell me that Christine beyotch is going to ruin any chance of a Buckingham Nicks reunion? You know, the one they had 15 years to do? Oh the shame. How dare they. Guess that means I can't go to another Fleetwood Mac show. Not with that Christine there.

I noticed this, too. And am surprised by her dismissal of the record. It's miles better than the 1984 one. I listened to them both back to back the other day and found ITM to be fresh, innovative, and interesting in a way I didn't the self-titled one. And her voice is fantastic on it!

So yeah, I was surprised.

But I do agree with you that interview is so refreshing, positive, and open.

Put a fork in those two already. It's so clear they get along just for show. Even Christine let it slip in her, "Tracks of My Years" interview that, Stevie and Lindsey don't get along in any other way except the business of music and music itself. Other than that, you won't see them hanging out just to be around each other.

Not my blog, but I'd say it comes from experience.

I see it going down like this: They do this tour, go back to finish whatever they're recording, it doesn't get finished so doesn't get released, Stevie goes back to a solo project, and 9 years later Lindsey will still be talking about 'dynamics' and 'cycles' and claiming that an album is on the way when and if they can all agree when and where to work. And then they'll tour assuming one of them isn't dead.

Sorry, I'm jaded. But in all seriousness, glaciers melt faster than the Mac can complete a project.

Good God, I hope I'm wrong.

Jesus, Stevie looks bad in these photos and also during the NBC Today interview. She was looking so fabulous just a few weeks ago at the Oscars after parties - what the hell has happened? It seems as though she's had a stroke in the above photo.
I do think her make-up is largely to blame - those overly blacked-out eyes and chalky foundation do nothing to disguise her puffy face. The poor thing looks awful.
Maybe that's the reason Stevie's not spending time in the studio - she can't bear the thought of clocking on for work whilst resembling a scalded pig...
As for Christine's comments regarding "In The Meantime", I couldn't agree more. It's an incredibly dull album, devoid of any real creativity. The best that can be said about it is that the first three songs were pedestrian, by-numbers (potential) radio songs - the remainder is slick trash. It's reassuring that she recognises this because hopefully she's pulled her finger out for the new material. Here's hoping.
As for Stevie, well her best bet at this stage would be to plunder the vaults and pray for divine intervention. She could easily haul out the likes of "The Dealer", "Mistaken Love", "All The Beautiful Worlds", "China Doll", "Forest Of The Black Roses" and "Fireflies" without subjecting herself to further shame. No doubt though she'll trot out something ****ty and generic a la "Say You Will" or "In Your Dreams" (the songs, not the albums).
I guess none of this really matters since the album is at least a year away from being released, if at all.

Hey, I still wouldn't be surprised if they all took the photo at the same place, but not at the same time.

I never thought Christine wasn't in California though.

I just hope she truly knows that Calumny and Northern Star were truly sublime. Those are babies I wouldn't throw out with the bathwater and even at this late date, I'd try to get them more exposure somehow. As far as the other songs on it go ... most are better than Sugar Daddy.

I liked Say You Will (the song) just fine, for myself. But I don't think Stevie was that into it. It probably wasn't even her kind of thing. She did it to fill the Christine gap. I wouldn't judge her for that.
