For some unknown reason, I can't find my copy. I recall it was a bit overpriced with a useless mini CD of early Blues Stuff in it.

My QUESTION: Was it me or did that book, much like Mick's really short change Lindsey's contribution. It might Burnette/Vito seem like the 2nd coming or something. Although my favorite photo from the book remains, the Billy B. foot in the mouth.

I haven't pulled my copy out in years, but if memory serves there wasn't much text at all. What little there was though was pretty generic stuff we'd all heard before...?

You can find that book on ebay at any given moment. I didnt get the vibe that Vito and Burnette were the 2nd Coming. It just seemed like one more phase in the saga that is Fleetwood Mac.

That "useless" CD has a couple of RARE...and I mean RARE...Jeremy Spencer tunes. Too bad you can't appreciate them. If you don't want the disc, I could use another copy.

When the book was first published, the sting of Lindsey's departure was still fairly fresh and Billy Burnette & Rick Vito were the perfect people to join when they did. It's just too bad that they weren't given the opportunity to really DO something in the studio...one album...they were just getting settled in...even after the BTM tour, they were carrying on as a four-piece all male lineup (Mick, John, Billy & Rick), when something happened to make Rick want to call it day with Fleetwood Mac.

I have two copies also. I bought my first one about 5 years ago, off eBay, but, it was still sealed, so I couldn't bear to open it. I put it away, and forgot about it. I finally got my 2nd copy about 6 months ago. No, it's not still sealed.
