Default "Silver Springs" live (prior to the release of Rumors)

Does anyone have any information as to when and where this was done?

This was done during the 1976 tour. It was a standard in the setlist.

That's from the Milwaukee bootleg of the 24th of June 1976 at the Mecca Arena. Actually we don't know for sure how many times it has been performed live after that, but they performed it at the start of the Rumours Tour before they allegedly had to change the setlist to please the crowd more and there's another bootlegged performance from the first of April 1977 in Kansas at the Kemper Arena.
