That's just it. Olive CAN'T give you specifics because it's different in each state. Different for each area within each state, even. I would venture to guess that it's predominantly the south, although I have friends in inter-racial relationships who live up north and out west who still face prejudices. I live in Tennessee. Nashville to be specific. My city is pretty progressive and liberal these days but just one or two counties away, we have bigoted government officials and very narrow minded citizens who still have the mentality of "whites with whites" and "blacks with blacks". Just like their bigoted mentality of marriage being between "one man and one woman".

So when Olive said there are "some parts" that wish it was still illegal, that's what she meant. "SOME parts". It's different for every state. There's no way to give specific names. Not sure what your point is for asking for those names, as that's not the point of this post.

Everyone just always assumes it's the south. Trust, there are a lot of racist pigs here but we aren't all that way....... Just like we all don't live in the hills, depending on public assistance and have no teeth.
