The blame lays squarely with that useless lump Jeremy Corbyn and his cronies. He did nothing for the 'Remain' campaign. The Tory vote was always going to be split but in the end it was labour voters that swung to 'Leave'. The only notable labour politician to show any passion was Sadiq Khan.
Mmmm...
..Cameron did not have to hold a referendum...that's what politicians get paid for.
To make informed decisions on our behalf.
The labour vote , I agree, did not vote to Remain...

Years ago I was a left wing globalist. Voted for Obama in 2008 .A registered Democratic for decades but woke up 5 years ago after Obama's shenanigans .Did not vote for Obama for his second term. Now unregistered from the dem party in February and went our country back.

I hope not if other countries exit EU, european economy is going to collapse. Just as it is The market went down, the Euro worth decreased, universities exchange is in peril and graduates job opportunities are halved because of the Brexit. We're even more fragile against Russia and China at the moment.
If the EU ceases to exist there will be another epoque of cold war.

In some irony for DC, the Conservatives' big win at the last election probably had a major impact on the outcome of this vote. Their win was the Liberal Democrats' loss. Historically the most pro-EU party was always the Lib Dems. If they'd been as strong as they were in the days of Paddy Ashdown, Charles Kennedy and even Nick Clegg (at the start of his leadership tenure) then they'd have probably had a big enough voice to make an impact. Unfortunately they've pretty much ceased to be a force. In fact I'd forgotten they even existed. I can't even think of the name of that nobody that leads their party now- he was non-existent throughout this campaign.

Are you implying that you're poor or that you're an ethnic minority?

I work at a wildlife centre on a Friday afternoon, and it was such a relief to have some time away from all this EU trouble. I think I'll just spend more time with trees from now on.

I would have bet on the ethnic minority, US is still the "melting pot".
God, 450,000 per year.
