Bombings in Boston

3 bombs were detonated 2 at the marathon one at the JFK-library , and as of 5:35 3 undetonated bombs have been found around the city ( which i have been out and away from all day )


if you see friends on social media posting misinformation and speculation , remove it and call them out on it ... it is hard enough to be in this situation with out getting the wrong information there are people with no or spotty cell service and may get the wrong info Thank You

Thats to bad.What gets me upset is the media screws things up worse because they dont bother with the research. All they are looking for is good Nielsen ratings.

They over blown the story with my neighbor weeks ago.

Born and raised a hop, skip, and a jump north of Boston, this story really hits home for me. I woke up today "knowing" it was a holiday, even though it's only a Massachusetts holiday. Some things stick with you even after twenty years.

My niece volunteered to work with the elite group of runners, and headed into Boston early this morning. She was soooo excited!

Of course, when I heard the news (I was driving on the highway) I had a major stress-filled hour until I finally heard she was okay.

My heart goes out to all the families who lost a loved one, all the people who were injured and to the city of Boston in general.

That one turned out to be the cause of faulty wiring. Nothing to do with the bombings.

Back in the day when I lived with my dad we lived in Ashland where the marathon runs through and I've been going to that since I was born up until I moved in with my mom. I actually thought about going to Ashland and seeing the marathon but I couldn't. I didn't find out about the bombing until I got to UMASS Worcester bringing my mom to her Dr appointment and the tv had the news on and all the doctors and secretaries were watching.

Last year my cousin ran the marathon and thank God this year she didn't. But she was in Boston helping out and she is safe.

My thoughts all go out to the families and people affected by this horrible event =`(

Wow .I'm glad they got somebody.

They were probably dozens of people with the same style backpacks that day .

The one with the bomb in it got to be pretty on the heavy side.

I figure with the 1000's of people taking photos and shooting videos plus the security cameras they can hone in on and find the sick idiot that done this terrible thing.

I hope the spectators will continue to provide their photos and videos to the authorities to help investigate and find on who did this and why.
