I'm reading "The Burning Bed". I have to write a report on it for my Criminal Law class! I have always loved the TV Movie (Farrah should have gotten that Emmy!), but I never have read the book until now! It's pretty good and I have enjoyed it thus far.

I'm currently reading Dante's Inferno. I read it once before when I was in high school, but decided to give it another go. A couple days ago I took one of those "which level of hell would you end up in" tests. I got the 5th.

I read that when I was in elementary school. My mother and my teachers were pissed.

It's sooooooooo bad, but you can't put it down.

Chronicles, Vol. 1 by Bob Dylan

I'm sure that I won't be much closer to know anything about Bob after reading this book; you never know when he is telling the truth and when he isn't. He is such a mystery. It is still an interesting read though. I would recommend it.

lol- I'm reading The Little HOuse on the Prairie books because I never have

Right now I"m reading "These Happy Golden Years" - then I only have one more to go to finish the series...they're great old books..can't believe I never read them as a kid

After that I'm going to read War of the Worlds...which has nothing to do with the crappy movie soon to come out - I just realized the other day that I've never read any H.G. Wells - so I got a book that has four novels in it

"These Happy Golden Years" is my favorite, for some reason. I never watched the show at all, so I have no clue who the actor that played him is, but I had the biggest crush on Almanzo. I think it's the only one that I still own.

I went on a major kick rereading all of the Anne books by L.M. Montgomery a few months ago.

The Little House on the Prairie books are so much better than the series! When I was in 1st grade, my teacher would always read us the books after lunch. God I miss my youth! I had never seen the show until after I became familiar with the books, and the show was not how I pictured the characters in my head!

So far On the Shores of Silver Lake has been my favorite - but I'm now really enjoying These Happy Golden Years

The episodes of the show where Laura meets Almanzo have always been my favorite - and though the book is different from the series...I love them both....

So yeah - I don't know that the books are "better" than the series - they are just different - I love them both....I absolutely adore the show - and actually I think ABC is coming out with another Little House show - based on the books - like they are actually going to follow the books more closely so I'm anxious for that to come out

Well, good news. It wasn't the bust I thought it would be. I found it quite disturbing to actually see the things described in the novel, especially the hangings. And Faye Dunaway was chilling. They changed the ending, though, but it didn't bother me too much.

How is that? I bought it and started it but never really got into it because I started reading stuff for school. Are you enjoying it? Is it telling you things you didn't already know, or is it the same old stuff?

Tough level , a lot of irritable people there, you're immersed in stinky mud and the punishment is really hard to take. I'd recommend the second, though, it's for those guilty of lust. The wind is annoying but the people is generally nice.
