Those are a gorgeous colour!!

My platforms were from Topshop earlier this year and I got the grey ones but now I wish I'd got the wine coloured ones. They're almost Stevie-perfect:

Unfortunately they stopped selling those in the US Top Shop a while ago, before I had the chance to get some

they really are close to perfect! - the closest I've seen in a retail store, tbh

They don't sell them in the UK stores either now. I remember waiting for them to go down from £120 to £50 before I even considered trying one on. Love Topshop. Hate price tags.

I was considering getting those ones last winter in the wine colour. Except was not liking the price tag and also I am already 5'8 and those had like 5 inch heel on them. I looked a bit like a man. The ones I got yest only have like a 4inch heel. That one inch makes a big difference when your tall. But you are right they are the ultimate Stevie boot!!

They're the most perfect Stevie boots I've seen in recent years, I was so upset they didn't fit me! Didn't think I had larger-than-average calves but apparently TopShop think differently I want these boots in every colour.

If you're going for a leather or vinyl "Stevie" boot, there are plenty on the internet if you want more of a 70's style heel and platform and you don't have to lace them up. Find ones that zip. I have a few pair I bought back before I started having others made.

Was watching The Runaways (movie) a while back on cable one night and noticed Dakota Fanning was rocking some serious 70's platform boots, my goodness!

I know the majority of women, unlike me, wear and think of boots for other reasons besides looking like Stevie Nicks in them and that's ok. But let me voice my distaste in a pair of platform Louboutin boots because I.don't. care. how much something costs or what name is attached to them, I think they are so ugly! Never would I wear a black boot with a bright red bottom of a different color that's so distracting really. I know these boots are all the rage among the rich and famous and hoity toity, but for me when I go for boots, I want completely matching ones like Stevie wears and like the other worldly boots she has on in that old black and white People magazine photo, bed on the floor. To me, that will always be my favorite style of boots and if I'm not mistaken, hers cost more to be made than them all
