Instead they're making it worse by lying.

They truly are making it worse. It's pathetic, and my life long fandom is crumbling to bits, witnessing their ridiculous, obvious lies.

I hear ya. I was disgusted by that whole interview. They're trying to spin and spin it but what they don't realize is that their stories don't make any sense whatsoever.

Just had a chance to watch the interview. The explanations for the new configuration seem perfectly reasonable to me. The situation within the band became too stressful, too dysfunctional and they couldn't find a way forward with all 5 members, so have looked for a creative solution. Yes it's sad they couldn't find a way to make it work with Lindsey, but as they say they're not getting any younger and they can't just sit around fighting over things. Best to move on, get out on the road, and play music.

It would be perfect reasonable if they were telling the truth. Lindsey never asked them to wait for 2 years (which is what Stevie told RS). Luckily we have a video of Lindsey telling his fans the day after Musicares how he was planning to do both tours at the same time. Of course it seems this is irrelevant because he was talking to “some fans”. Answers weren’t elaborate like in the CBS interview.

It was a funeral yesterday at CBS

We don’t like the word “fired”. Yeah, Mick, but you didn’t deny it!

Yeah its pretty sad. The band had so much potential 4 years ago when Christine came back. Suddenly everyone was shocked at what could be. An album with the Rumours 5 and tours to come. NONE of it happened.
To end their legacy this way is beyond sad. If it turns out Billy Burnette was the person who tried out for the band but was rejected (maybe for health reasons or chemistry) is even sadder. The tour does not begin until October. There was plenty of time for Lindsey to summer solo tour. None of this makes sense to surrender your legacy for this. They would never do this to Stevie or Christine or John. Christine looked so sad on the CBS segment.
The band is trying to portray this is a new band that will record. Mark my word and you heard it hear first. The band will rehearse some new song and perform it on tour to try to prove to everyone this is REALLY a new band.

Kirsten has posted in Instagram an image with the text "Time discovers truth". And in a previous post, she has liked comments like these: "They looked disjointed, ridicously and utterly disingenuous this morning. I've never been more embarrassed to be a Stevie Nicks fan."

How did KB end up being my favorite person in all of this??

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Stevie also looked sad, but I don't believe a word she says, so at this point it's also hard to believe Christine's sadness.
Of course there was plenty of time for Lindsey to do her solo tour. It's like they're now trying to rub in his face how they could hold the tour until the end of year if they wanted to. Because according to Stevie, Lindsey was asking to wait until November and the tour finally starts in October, so I wonder what a difference does a month make....

I really have to wonder if when things got bad, they threatened to part ways with Lindsey thinking it was just their way of twisting his arm and never really intending to do so, but Lindsey essentially called their bluff and said fine, fire me!

Which would explain why Christine may have been shocked he actually left. They all knew it would be the card they would play, expecting an entirely different outcome.

I wonder when they say “majority rules” if that’s to partially a way to absolve Christine any responsibility of being part of the decision.
