You just reminded me. I didn't go to prom and prom weekend I babysat for my former spanish teachers 2 kids and one of their friends instead of going to the shore.

The Weir one is the best (I have several books by her - she chooses great subjects) IMO, though i'm intrigued by the revisionist theories in the Karen Lindsey one. I did not care for the Starkey PBS series at all. Too many big gaps & assumptions. I was disappointed.
