I can't believe she was all of 23 when I first saw her in concert. (Even harder to believe that I was all of 18 at the time...)

Yeah, I can't believe she was just 17 when I met her in 1985, She was the receptionist at Cherokee Recording studios in Hollywood where a friend of mine was the overnight tech at the studio. I only visited him once there...what a night:

1) Met the daughter of Delaney & Bonnie Bramlett

2) saw Steve Lukather's guitar rig set up in Studio 1 where he was to do overdubs for the next Toto album the following day.

3) met Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick when he came out of Studio 2 to take a break from mixing the next Cheap Trick album

4) met Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran who came out of Studio 3 where he was doing keyboard overdubs for the next album to come over and inspect our Chinese food delivery (he said he smelled it from all the way down the hall and had to see where the smell was coming from...1/2 hr later, the same restaurant's delivery guy was delivering a ****load of food to Studio 3).

And, he claimed "this is a slow night".
