Thanks vivfox, for being happy for me too

The last time Buckingham and Nicks shared a stage in the Netherlands was june 13 1980.
I was 14 years old and had saved money for the better part of a year to go to a Mac-concert. At last the date was there. I could pay for a ticket, a twoway-trainticket to Rotterdam and a night in a youthhostel. But my parents didn't let me go.

So this is a special gig.

In 2003 Mick told some fans in front of his hotel in Frankfurt/Germany that the concert in Nürnberg/Germany was cancelled because noone bought tickets. So my guess is that they now only do two concerts in germany. Half of the people in Oberhausen wwere from the Netherland back then, so going there this time makes alot of sense, expecially since they have such a loyal fan community there, people who were basically ignored for a long long time.

Sounds unlikely to me. I thought that concert got cancelled because Stevie was ill?

They would never admit slow pre-sales to be reason for cancelling a concert. The word of the cancellation was already out on the previous night in Oberhausen and she seemed just fine that night.
And why would they play Nürnberg at all? If they played Munich, they might have been able to attract more concert goers. But it is sad that Oberhausen, at the moment, might be the most nothern city they play in Europe.

Hey you all,
I just want to tell everyone that I WILL BE AT THE SHOW AS WELL I finally persuaded my Dad to go there with me although I will miss school and we have to drive through nearly the whole country. My Lord I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy!!!! Our seats are not the very best I guess but I really don't care!!! I'm sooo excited and booking late has the amazing advantage that I don't have to wait so long...but I'm not sure if I will survive. Probably I will go insane until October 12. But yeah, I suppose it's the same with you so I'm gonna stop annoying you know (that's wrong English, is it?). Today is the best day of my life

Hi there,

this is my first post here and also I am very excited. Tomorrow in Oberhausen I will see my first Fleetwood Mac Concert. I missed the Say you will tour, so I am very happy to have them back here in the "Ruhrgebiet". The show isn t sold out, so if any one doesn t have a ticket, it s not a pitty. U can buy tickets at the Arena, there are many good seats free, also Innenraum-Tickets ( standing ). I don t know, why the german shows doesn t sell well, but I assume it has to do with the high prices for concerts here in germany. I have paid 90 Euros for the concert, only The Eagles this year were more expensive ( and that was it worth ! ). I will write my concert review after the show here. Does any one know, at which hotel they are ?

Greetings from Germany

Christian
