Well, it was just a kind of fumbling and I was thinking, "what on earth is he doing?" I guess it was more cute than hot. I'm with you about the bed on the floor. Interesting trip down memory lane. Michele |

Ugh! Don't go there. The regret of my life is forgetting my camera at home in my mad dash to leave the city on a Friday night; as it was, I got to the arena literally 5 minutes before showtime. Not only did I end up getting closer than I thought would ever be possible, the security actually allowed people to come up to the stage and take pictures/video!

I mean, in different posts all over the board you have vented some pretty harsh opinions about his playing, singing and acting these last couple of days.

Im really loving the stage set-up and colors in the backdrop lighting. Is it this vivid at the show? The colors are very flattering to the band.

One of the earliest piano demos I have heard of Gypsy refers to "The year of the child" which may well have been in '78.
On edit: It was 1979. Link here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interna...r_of_the_Child Last edited by gldstwmn; 03-14-2009 at 10:18 PM.. |

Great review, Michele.
I finally got my ticket for MSG yesterday. So, I'm psyched. The bed and skating stories had me cracking up. And the lack of a Daddy-Landslide dedication;-) I can't, for the life of me, remember if MSG allows cameras. I mean, I know you can sneak them in anyway, but I don't remember if they are ultra-militant in squelching the picture-taking. |

Very vivid. And the backdrops change for each song, e.g., the hypnotic animated swirlies during "Go Insane" and the erupting storm clouds during "Storms." But the overhead screens were really neat- they shifted around at different angles throughout the show. Very modern, very uncluttered- almost a bit futuristic. Cool stuff.

I learned the fine art of non-flash picture taking during SYW. But, I actually haven't taken pictures much after the Under the Skin tour. I literally have thousands of pictures of them (not all taken by me, of course)...and so many look the same. And I do enjoy the show more without the camera. |

Hey Michele!! Thanks SO much for this awesome review! I just got chills from reading it, as though I was actually there! I'm laughing in some of your descriptions of Stevie.. especially on the "She doesn't dedicate Landslide anymore".. She's a riot! She just did it at the previous' night's show, as you said, and all the others! LOLOLOLOL.. I don't think I've ever seen or heard a show of hers, even through boots, or video clips where she DIDN"T dedicate that song to SOMEONE.. Oy.. LOLOL- It sounds like they were both in great form last night, as in the Boston show, and maybe Stevie is feeling better or whatever the situation was... as I'm just glad to see them working together to provide something GREAT for us fans!! Thanks SOOOO much for sharing it with us - oh, and WOW.. your meeting with the video guy! How cool was that???!!! I felt they would be going to Europe!!! That's awesome!!!! And Australia! Cool!
