Default fmlegacy.com?

What happened to fmlegacy.com? I love that website, I checked the tour pages often, there was so much information there! I would be a shame if it was gone for good.

It looks like they lost their domain name.I also enjoyed going there too.I sent Jan loads of ticket stubs years back and got posted in the ticket stub section.

I noticed that earlier this week and immediately started saving the cached Google tour pages...I reference those all the time and would surely miss them!

The Internet Archive's most recent snapshot of the site is from January.

I loved that site, but for some reason I could never get the Mick bio to load.

Just bumping this to let you know that if you find it a hassle using the archive site to access fmlegacy, I have a solution for you. Maybe. If you can use ePub files, anyway. If you don't have a iPad or eReader to read this on, you can download ebook readers for your Mac or PC here:
http://fbreader.org/

I've been working on creating eBooks (of Penguin Q&As, nickfix Q&As, etc) and have just finished one which will be of interest to you if you need tour information, etc. I'll just post the details that I also included on my blog.

DOWNLOAD HERE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/15...tourdates.epub
[204 KB, ePub]

CONTENTS
This contains dates and locations for gigs from all Fleetwood Mac tours (as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks solo tours) between 1975 and 2013. They are written in chronological order and other information such as musicians playing and setlists are also included. At the end of the eBook is an appendix which consists of 'fleetnotes' - additional information on various shows from fmlegacy.com, a site now only available for viewing through waybackmachine.

Information culled from:
fmlegacy.com
fleetwoodmac-uk.com
fleetwoodmacnews.com
waddywachtelinfo.com

I know I'm a little late but... I am heartbroken The Legacy is gone. Their tourpages were a treasure trove of info. Reminds me of how I felt when we lost sararhiannon.com.

This seems to be a dead link.

Well, it might come back. It went down a couple of times before and then it returned. So, don't despair yet.

Hmm. Odd. I don't know why that would be. I just downloaded it then using that link with no issues. Try it here:

And don't forget...

Queen of Rock (1999)
Burnish (1999)
Charmed Hour (2001)
In Her Own Words (2001)
Madness Fades (2001)
Fireflies UK (2001)
Blue White Fire (2003)

I have a lot of respect for these early sites. It's sad that they had to go, but life intervenes, I'm sure.

Wasn't even close to being around back then (sob sob, no really, I am more than a little annoyed at myself) but...

BURNISH: Unfortunately, I'm unable to access the Bunish messageboard but plenty of information on the site is still available as an archive. Am working on copying down the articles from Burnish as soon as I've copied across those from nicksfix.

http://web.archive.org/web/200612050...//burnish.net/ is the most 'recent' link - allows access to articles, fans, site map, discography but not the galleries, audio, etc.

FIREFLIES UK: http://web.archive.org/web/200806121...m/firefliesuk/ is the most recent access for this website. One can still look at photos, articles, and reviews.

IN HER OWN WORDS:
Is this is a different site than http://inherownwords.com/ ? Because that's still up and available...

CHARMED HOUR:
You can access the 'Stevie' portion (with facts, pics, quotes, etc) but only quite a long way back: http://web.archive.org/web/200411300....net/about.php

The 'music' (discography) and media sections work at a later date as well: http://web.archive.org/web/200601022...armedhour.net/

MADNESS FADES:
http://web.archive.org/web/200708070...nessfades.net/ works perfectly fine and I've already copied all the quotes across from it into a document just in case one day it doesn't.

QUEEN OF ROCK is not accessible at all apart from seeing a screenshot of the front page: http://web.archive.org/web/200505101...eys/index.html

BLUE WHITE FIRE: http://web.archive.org/web/200501261...whitefire.com/
Of course, you can no longer download from the website or anything like that but one can still access sections on lyrical allusions, some 'files' (clippings etc), a few 'rare' Stevie lyrics, etc

SARARHIANNON:
http://web.archive.org/web/200406010...m/features.htm will take you to a submenu for:
- demo and outtake lyrics
- organisational list of demos/outtakes
- quotes on various FM/solo Stevie songs
- scans of poetry and journals
- a section on Robin and Stevie (many pictures can't be seen)

http://web.archive.org/web/200406010...com/stevie.htm will let you access her discography, a bio, tracklistings and lyrics for TISL/SYW. Very few photos can still be seen.
