Saw the movie with Holiday Road last night...I had seen it years ago but didn't even know who Lindsey was then so it was a real treat to pick up on it now...

I loved that song before I knew who Lindsey Buckingham or Fleetwood Mac were. It is so cool! And a great movie too. Reminds me of some of my family's exploits as we drove from Texas to Ohio every year to visit my dad's parents. I swear, that part where Chevy Chase figures out schedules to the last minute on the computer - my dad! "We must be at the Holiday Inn on Highway x by 10:15 Thursday night...so we CANNOT spend more than 45 minutes at the Howard Johnson's for dinner! No time for sherbert! Drop the spoons! WE MUST LEAVE NOW!"

LOL! Nancy, did your dad make little lists too? Mine sure does. I just don't understand that level of organization... whatever happened to spontaneity?

I love the movie, it's one of my faves of all time...so crazy and silly! I've always loved the songs in the movie, but never knew it was LINDSEY!! How cool is THAT!!

For our family vacations, my dad doesn't go so far as to make schedules and stuff...but, we do print out maps of cities in detail for easy getting around and we take all the brochures and booklets we send off for so we know what there is to do in the town.
