Default Peter Green on The Answer

Wow, just finally got around to getting this re-master and I'm just in awe of Green on the opening title track (still have to get through the entire album). Is this the only studio work* with Green on the wah pedal? Man was he firing on all cylinders...

*edit - besides End of the Game

Fantastic album.
Green also uses the wah wah on the sessions with Toe Fat, Memphis Slim, Gass and Dave Kelly, all from 1970.

I forgot about the Memphis Slim album, great wah by Greeny, and I've heard the Dave Kelly stuff. I have often wondered who played the wah on Sandy Mary from the BBC session; it doesn't really stand out in a distinctive manner. I know Green or Kirwan plays some wah on the Otis Spann album. It is interesting to me to see how they utilized a rather new effect pedal.

Default Wah Wah pedal

Pete plays an absolutely blistering wah wah pedal with John Mayall during a Bath music festival late in 1970. There are live recordings out there of that. the recording is bad but the playng is great. Mayal,l Rick Gretch, Peter and Mayall's brother.

You can also track the wah wah on versions of the green manalishi where green employs the wah wah on his Fender VI. He also plays it in the same show on Rattlesnake Shake on guitar
